Retired cop explains how to conduct yourself when carrying

I like this guy, he's one of us. He gives some excellent advice (mostly toward the end of the video).

"A man is to be held accountable for the thoughts he chooses to entertain." --Richard Alan Miller

"If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable-what then?" --George Orwell

"It's not a matter of what is true (reality) that counts but a matter of what is perceived to be true (reality)." --Henry Kissinger

Great video; I would take it one step further.

I don't have any evidence that I am a US Citizen, do you have any evidence that I am?
Well over 90 percent of the people Hitler locked up were Germans. Only 2 to 3 percent were Jews and most of those Jews were elevated to concentration camp kapos.

One of my favorite places to eat and get a cup of coffee has a sign by the door that says "Guns Welcome".

Plural ... means you have to pack one on each hip, a third in your boot and another up your sleeve.

Is there anything wrong with that?

This passage from Bouviers law dictionary seems to cover it (re - concealment):

Fraud occurs when one person substantially misrepresents or conceals a material fact peculiarly within his own knowledge, in consequence of which a delusion exists; or uses a device naturally calculated to lull the suspicions of a careful man, and induce him to forego inquiry into a matter upon which the other party has information, although such information be not exclusively within his reach.

Fraud would need to be determined based on the meaning/intent of the sign. Was the sign a welcome for one to bring many guns or was it an invitation to all that might carry a gun? What might have been a proper wording to show welcome to those that might carry into a watering hole?

The only fraud would be the sleeve gun and the boot gun. Open carry is its' own notice.

"Guns Welcome" => "Patrons Are Requested To Be Polite At All Times"

It is not the clothes or ornaments. It is the attitude and action.

But what if the sign was just a welcome for members of the Gun family?

Wouldn't that mean everyone else was not welcome? Not a good message to a business that operates on the largess of the public.
