The US is a Banana Republic with the largest economy in the world, most powerful military, the biggest supplier of weapons/missiles/oil/, largest stock market, global hegemony.
Sure, other countries/societies are more corrupt per capita, but we're talking pennies compared to what the US government extorts, loots, steals and through selling weapons. Many more billions of US tax dollars and money from other countries are being moved through corporate, private, offshore accounts, then anywhere else. The US government is the largest enterprise in the world with a completely corrupt FBI, DOJ, CIA, NSA, DOD, IRS, etc...every agency.

Not defending Trump, but I just think the swamp is impossible to drain--the corruption is everywhere, it's like they're all in on it, everyone is getting a cut of the action.
