    Re: Coronavirus

I tried shopping at Menard's today without mask. A friend and I brushed past the gatekeeper who tried to sell us masks. Was then accosted by three employees who demanded that we either wear masks or leave the store. I engaged them in conversation for a scant 3 or 4 minutes. I told them I had a medical exemption that precluded me from wearing a mask; a rare disorder called 'having a set of balls', two of them laughed heartily and the third looked like he wanted to fight me. I stared him down for a moment and then gave my spiel to the other two about where will we draw the line and all that. I left and they did not get my money. Pretty sad what America has become.

Thanks. I'm not trying to make any money or anything- channels not monetized, but I do want to get the word out. I'm real tired of the bad guys laughing all the way to the bank.

I wish this was mine but I heard it on another forum. My favorite response when confronted about not wearing a mask:

    "I'm freed of wearing them."

    LOL

    The Word Person, Whence
The word Person is latine: instead whereof the Greeks have Prosopon, which signifies the Face, as Persona in latine signifies the Disguise, or Outward Appearance of a man, counterfeited on the Stage; and somtimes more particularly that part of it, which disguiseth the face, as a Mask or Visard: And from the Stage, hath been translated to any Representer of speech and action, as well in Tribunalls, as Theaters. So that a Person, is the same that an Actor is, both on the Stage and in common Conversation; and to Personate, is to Act, or Represent himselfe, or an other; and he that acteth another, is said to beare his Person, or act in his name; (in which sence Cicero useth it where he saies, “Unus Sustineo Tres Personas; Mei, Adversarii, & Judicis, I beare three Persons; my own, my Adversaries, and the Judges;”) and is called in diverse occasions, diversly; as a Representer, or Representative, a Lieutenant, a Vicar, an Attorney, a Deputy, a Procurator, an Actor, and the like.

The anti-virus mask is just the latest fad. Menards wants to see the person and doesn't care two twigs about the man. The mask you wear is labeled MASTERCARD or FRN.

Here's the thing though; it drives them crazy to have anyone flout the mandate and that is the best revenge.

I am just absolutely dismayed that my fellows have shown so little manhood. If you wear a mask, you deserve everything that is done to you. If you refuse to wear a mask, no matter what, then you are honoring all those brave people who stood up to tyranny before, down through all the ages.
