i'm learning alongside amanda from this thread. which ammo is woman friendly - less kick, but can still do the job?

.38 special .380 9mm are all pop guns. no felt recoil. .38 spec +p or +p+ will kick alot more. I would suggest to all here, consider moving out of urban and even suburban areas. I couldnt imagine the zombie hoards, police first and foremost coming for your preps. At least consider geography high on your list. If this is not "the big one" at least lets learn that it only took 2 weeks to put troops on the streets and lockdown the cities. like Lot, we need to leave sodom and gomorrah behind. cheers.

My ex-wife took two shots at the guy she was married to before me with a .357 magnum in the house and missed him. Good thing for him she hadn't been practicing. I decided later on that she might not miss if she decided to take a shot at me so I got the hell away from her.

If you are buying now, you might want to match whatever caliber ammo you might be able to acquire.

Amen to this, especially here in lockdown CA. I wonder if any gun shops are even able to open here. Personal, I think a gun shop is an "essential service", but for I doubt CA feels the same way.

Just buy the newer Ruger LCPII model (not the old LCP model) that costs less than $300. Get it now while you still can. Worry about training and ponder all this other stuff later at your leisure. Phone your local gun stores and ask them if they have one IN STOCK.

I think I'm totally screwed. Didn't act fast enough. Have to get the permit first. (all last week I was spending all my time quickly building up the dried food, but I should have thought about this issue too--totally kicking myself)

Anyway, called one place, no answer. Called another place closed b/c no inventory--said it was "crazy out there" --I hope that means that there are some awake people in this state (but that would kind of surprise me)

I'm not going to give up. I just have to think about options.

She said her previous husband was a no-good SOB and had it coming. I think he probably was an asshole. I figured there wouldn't be any reason for her to do the same to me and there wasn't but she would get crazy sometimes. She was good looking, had thick golden blond hair down past her waist, green eyes and built like a brick shit house. I couldn't resist. We had a pretty good time for awhile until she'd get crazy and then it would get dangerous. We've made peace and get along good now and we're friends but we live in different states.
