Fr. Altman, Fr. Altier, Muzzling Priests and the Johnson Amendment
This is casual commentary by Steve who partially runs the Sensus Fidelium YouTube channel.
It is very enlightening for Catholics today.
The Johnson Amendment is law stating you will lose your tax-exempt status as an organization, such as 501c3 status that is the "religious, charitable, educational" federal and state tax exempt status for church which are corporations, which is like 99 percent of Catholic parishes and Protestant religious entities.
President Trump promised he would eliminate the Johnson Amendment so that church pastors could speak out regarding things going on in our USA and government and politics, things including the"PLANdemic and the SCAMdemic, President Trump has not done this. Not only will non-profit corporations lose a huge amount of money derived from having the tax-exempt status but more and more true Catholics adhering to the one, hold, catholic and apostolic Church established by Jesus the Christ must speak out and stand up NOW in order to be a true follower of Christ - period.
There are three "novus ordo" Catholic priests who are speaking out from their pulpits very clearly that the whole "coronavirus" thing is is big lie. These priests are experiencing extreme pressure and reprisals from their bishops, but that is exactly what Jesus said His true followers would experience, but for Christians, it is about the soul and going to heaven, not about money and this wicked world system and valley of tears.
There are many YouTube and Bitchute videos highlighting recent sermons and commentary by these three Catholic priests. There are at least two postings in this forum about Dr. Altier's commentary regarding the "virus" and being lied to.

Re: Fr. Altman, Fr. Altier, Muzzling Priests and the Johnson Amendment
Here is the recent video by Father James Altman that is causing so much controversy.
(It is interesting to note that Father Altman was a trial lawyer prior to acting upon,at age 41, the call for him to become a priest.)

WATCH NOW: 'You cannot be Catholic and be a Democrat,' La Crosse priest says
OLIVIA HERKEN La Crosse Tribune Sep 9, 2020
In a video published by a far-right media outlet, a La Crosse Catholic priest attacks the leaders of the church, and degrades practicing Catholics who are Democrats, calling them "Godless" hypocrites who are going to hell.
"Here's a memo to clueless baptized Catholics out there: You cannot be Catholic and be a Democrat. Period," Father James Altman said in the video.
"Their party platform absolutely is against everything the Catholic church teaches. So just quit pretending that you're Catholic and vote Democrat. Repent of your support of that party and its platform, or face the fires of hell," he said.
Altman is the pastor at La Crosse's St. James the Less, a Catholic parish located on the North Side of La Crosse. The Diocese of La Crosse said that it has no statement on the video.
In the video, which was published on Aug. 30 by Alpha News MN, the pastor takes a direct aim at the hierarchies in the Catholic church, calling leaders hypocrites and "gutless cowards" for not getting more involved in politics and taking a stronger stance against certain issues.
His strongest message, though, was for Democrats within the church.
Altman rattled through the Democratic platform, using conspiracy theories and exaggerations to denounce many of them, from climate change to immigration, and women's rights and systemic racism.

Specifically in the video Altman uses common right-wing messaging like calling climate change a hoax and labeling Black Lives Matter protesters as Marxists, while also labeling Planned Parenthood as "the most racist organization on the face of this planet" saying it was founded to "wipe out Black babies," and calling the Southern Poverty Law Center "one of the most Godless, communist, anti-American, left-wing radical organizations in the United States."
The video is produced to show photos of Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and other Democrats as Altman labels the group as "Godless," and spends some time denouncing Father James Martin, who spoke at the Democratic National Convention.
"I guess it's OK for James Martin to spout off for the Democrats on their national stage, but God forbid a priest speak out against their Godless platform," Altman said.
Altman's messages are not new in a extremely divided religious group, which has become more politically polarized in recent years.
In a Pew Research finding from 2019, it shows that registered Catholic voters were nearly evenly split between Democratic and Republican parties.
But to Altman, any practicing Catholics who vote for Democrats are "imposters."
"I actually researched, and researched all the data, the information, I crunched the numbers and finally came up with a pretty close approximate total of how many Catholics voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012 — zero," Altman said.
"Wrap your minds around that, dear family. There are a lot of pretenders, a lot of imposters," Altman added. "There are zero faithful Catholics who voted for that Godless politician." end of newspaper article

Here is commentary on this controversial video by Father Altman by a Caholic Dad YouTube channel /commentator. This Catholic Dad said that Father Altman will probably choose to "bend the knee" and obey his bishop and Catholic Dad said his opinion of Father Altman would change if Father did otherwise. So this entire exchange on this topic regarting Father Altman is done within what Dachsie refers to as the "novus ordo" entity called "the Catholic Church" today.
