I'm just not buying this was an intentional building demolition. For one thing a guy (who was out of town) was talking to his wife (who died in the incident) on the phone as it was happening. She told him the building was shaking and when she looked outside from her 3rd floor balcony there was already a huge sink hole in the pool deck (video below was taken 7-8 minutes before collapse). No reports of explosions to account for sink hole in pool deck prior to ultimate structural failure of building. Also there are numerous accounts from those inspecting the building going back 25 years of how there was structural concrete spalling with exposed rebar. I'm no engineer but I know enough that if rebar is exposed in structural concrete that's spalling then those components are definitely compromised. 13 story building = a lot of weight on compromised structural members.

Seems like a legit theory.

Initial collapse of the underground parking area outside of the building tower (corrosion leading to punch through pillars) pulled sideways and caused failure of the first building pillars and wall.
Also surveillance collapse video and debris pile seems to show cheap pillar and wall construction that allowed major building segments of floor-ceiling slabs to get pulled down once part started falling.

Was Jim Stone there when the building fell?? Is Jim Stone an engineer?? Is Jim Stone fully up to speed on the DOCUMENTED condition of the building going back 25 years?? Was Jim Stone even aware this building existed before it fell??

I’ll make a wild ass guess that the answers to all those questions is a “No.” Therefore I submit Jim Stone is absolutely full of shit with regard to his theories SPECULATING on the catastrophic structural failure of this 40 year old decrepit poorly maintained 13 story building.
