JohnQPublic good choice of software, and being free doesn't hurt. I have been running two smf foorums for over 5 years now. So if you are not familiar with and even need assistance email me.

That said, I am reserving my opinions on GIM v?

Some of you may not have been there long enough to remember the time skydyke deleted all his posts and signed over the forum to another member. Then something strange happened, and all of a sudden AMPEX starting posting, a LOT. At that time the "whois" went to private and no more funds were asked for to maintain the upkeep, as in previous years.

I'm not saying that I have any 'inside info', I don't. I just pay attention to the little things.

All that said, I wasn't spending much time there anyway, and I see some good folks here. I truly hope that it doesn't turn into another Agora site.
