The Arab nations have waged war on Israel, not the other way around. Israel's neighbors, and all of Islam, have sworn to wipe out every Jew from the face of the earth, and take back the land that God gave to Israel as an everlasting inheritance. Israel will never give up it's land because it will never allow the genocide of the last century to happen again. Israel will follow a scorched earth policy for that reason.
