    Copper Pennies

Right now on ebay there is an auction for 2 $25.00 face boxes of rolled pre 1982 pennies. $50.00 USD face value.

Currently there are 14 bids with the price at $86.00! Shipping is $13.70, bringing the current total auction price to $99.70!

    WOW!!

This isn't my auction and I am in no way connected to it.

Something tells me I need to get some folks working on a similar scam, pronto.

Current melt value of $50 in copper cents is $138.63. Subtract 10-15% for wear, and you get about $120 metal value. Crazy!

When I was an armored car guard a few years back I used to have to deliver boxes of change to banks every night. They are not light.

Yeah I wish I had more pennies too but it is just not worth my time to sort large quantities of them. I do keep the coppers I get in my change though. I also found a silver quarter in my change a few weeks ago which was nice.

"HartlandAmerica.com" will sell you one lbs of copper pennies for only $19.95.......the only thing is that one lbs of copper pennies is equal to $1.20 or 120 pennies.
