    Bicentennial [1787-1987] Round - Not .999

    In the event anyone comes across some of these they do indeed contain a full ounce of silver. The round weighs over an ounce in total but contains one ounce of silver. Needed some $$ so took a few tubes to a refiner to be sure and he stated they are indeed an ounce of silver.

    They do have a slight copper color but sound 'right'

    The Eisenhower Political Art Round is 1oz .999 Ag although it is not marked as such. My dealer gave me this coin one day and I was surprised to learn this about it.

    It looks like the rest of the collection is hit or miss as to whether or not they will bear the purity hallmark.
