Simple question. Anyone still buying? I only bought one ounce when it was around 200 spot on that dip in 2008. Dumbest move I have made was not buying more at the time.

I`m thinking of converting some of my Ag to platinum if Ag continues to go up fast. I have 2oz of Pd bought at 200 and I`m happy with that. Pd may go to the Moon if they find new uses for it like cold fusion. Pt is the rarest of the PMs and it`s a lot more liquid, Pd is not liquid at all in an emergency. Pt is the densest and the best value for the weight, easy to carry if you have to run with your money.
Civilization can run without gold but it can`t without Pt, it`s a true strategic metal used in lots of industries.

Hadn't thought of Ag for Pt. I don't have any Pt. I do need some to round out the collection. Hmmmm.

Pd was making spectacular gains up until a few months ago since then it has slid back about $50 while Gold and silver made new highs. Still think silver is the better play.
