    The infrastructure is being built. What we just saw certainly was a speculative bubble, but in five years time, I bet price discovery for bitcoin will be over and it will have settled to a comfortable stability.

    Yep, it has to sink or swim on its own terms. If the infrastructure doesn't catch up, well we'll all be looking at a big goose egg. But IF it can raise to the challenge, I think everyone will benefit. Even those who do not even use it as it will be a source of competition with the dollar.
