Litecoin currently $5.46. I bought a dozen or so litecoins on ebay a few days ago, and already made the money back.

There is profit to be made in trading litecoins and bitcoins back and forth, playing the ratio.

It's easier and cheaper to do this with ltc/btc than with silver/gold because the fees for converting back and forth are much less.

    But it is all gambling!

How many Kh/s you doing? with my CPU miners I'm getting 140 KH/s. You can keep track of the difficulty and what it's expected to be because of the network hash rate here:

I've been LTC mining a bit now too -- going at ~22 KH/s and want to switch to GPU mining and having a bit of trouble [expect `500 KH/s] Anyone well versed with this?

What F's me up is that PMs are dropping. I'm not dumping all of my PMs into BTC/LTC but they just aren't moving. Thanks Rothschild....

    Re: The Bitcoin Tracking Thread

I was getting up to 230 Kh/s on my main computer just running one video card, but I toned it down to 120 so it kept my GPU at a stable/low temperature.

The mining programs don't seem to work on my laptops. Any idea why? I've never really have seriously tried mining since I never saw it as profitable (until now).

I think you'll need to get the AMD App SDK pack that will allow the graphics card to start mining Litecoins.

    http://developer.amd.com/tools/heter...sdk/downloads/

There's the download for the tool. Download for whatever OS you're using and then install the latest and greatest driver and then try mining. That should get rid of that OpenCL error you're getting.

Nice, why I'm gonna build an open case design and leave the system in my basement where it's about 10 degree's cooler and just let it run. I haven't decided if I'm going to Overclock or not... Guess it depends on how well I can manage the extra heat.
