Other crypto currencies and playing the market

What do you guys think of Terracoin and PPcoin?

What is the best way to make money in crypto currencies in an oscillating market?

    Any profitable trading strategies?

I am still mining Litecoins but have noticed that there seems to be an opportunity to arbitrage between exchanges. Sometimes the price can difference can be significant.

None of them sound good to me, but a few years ago neither did bitcoin, they were all essentially worthless. The market surprises us though, in what people freely decide to use for media of exchange. If I had been able to foresee how the world took to bitcoin, I'd be rich right now.

That is pretty much how I see it. That people would value something that isn't even tangible so highly is insane to me but there are lots of things that are insane these days.

When you think about it people trusting the USD (mostly digital) backed by nothing as it is being inflated away is insane but it seems the whole world is still on the bandwagon.

So if people are going to be insane how can we profit off of the insanity?

A $100 investment in bitcoin at $0.02 a few years ago is still $500,000 today after the massive correction we just had.

I think I'm waiting for the program that allows you to counterfeit them.

Golly. Please rephrase this naked greed into patriotic verbiage that at least pretends to promote Bitcoins as some sort of "Freedom" weapon in defense of our Constitution!

I believe Mt Gox will be trading PPcoin soon. But they said that previously, now they were unable to do even bitcoin.

Orders will not be accepted for the moment as we need to upgrade our database to accommodate the trading volume. However, you may still cancel your pending and open orders. Trading will resume at 11.00 am JST. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.
Being in I.T. myself I know exactly what they are doing. The problem is poor planning (lack of hardware, software, people etc.) But at the same time there really isn't any ground work to follow to try and get an idea of what kind of resources you need to run a virtual currency exchange. They are for a lack of a better phrase "a victim of their own success." Hopefully their hiccups are a learning tool for others to put up more exchanges so as to have better method for price discovery and currency stability. You can't have an exchange that does 70% of BTC volume going down all the time or you're going to get these price plummets.

This Bitcoin casino scheme was sold as "Freedom" from the evil monetary system.

A few here at GSUS are still selling it as such.

Whatever you say statist shill. How much is that digital FRN in your electronic bank account worth if the FDIC goes belly up?

Or take a look a cyprus. I'm sure they have all the faith in the world in their Euro's right now.... LOL
