Appointment to put my dog down in the morning

This sucks, it's never been as hard as this one is.
I guess you get more sentimental about things as you get older?

We've been struggling with this for a while now, but my Brittany's cancer has gotten worse.
A tumor on her cheek, under her eye, has been growing and today she's scratched it open.
It's so sad to put down a dog that is still happy.
This dog has always worshipped me.

So sorry! This is one of the hardest things I had ever needed to do! Just remember that you will be ending their suffering and doing what is best! It really doesnt make you feel better right away to understand this... but its true. I waited two weeks too long and it was wrong on my part. I just could let him go. I finally realized it was best for both of us. So sorry!

My condolences on the loss of your beloved pet.

    How old is she?

Not sure I can wait until morning. She's scratched it open, it's bleeding and she is starting to squeal when she rubs it.

Then don't. Take immediate action. Your girl is depending on YOU to show her mercy and relieve her pain. I suggest you drop everything you're doing and take care of her immediate needs.

I'm so sorry to hear this, EE. Dogs are truly some of our best friends.

    Sorry to hear it.

I know how somewhat-attached I am to my chickens.

    Not SUPER-attached, they're just chickens.

I figure, 3 chickens = 1 dog, in terms of "Pet Quality".
