Not really when most of the people in the Alt-Right prefer to stay anonymous. Most of the accounts on Twitter / GAB are fakes. You can't keep track of post in the chans because each new thread gets a new ID, and the site literally no memory. The meme's discussions etc are gone within 24-48 hours depending on how popular a specific thread is.Leaderless resistance is everyone and no one. And because it can be everyone, it can be severely damaged by negative associations.
It's not like the normal foot soldiers in this resistance are out proclaiming to be the "Alt-Right". It was a label given to them by the Media and then you have dipshits proclaiming to the leader of a movement that only acquired a name from the Main Stream Media.... So what fear of association? They have plausible deniability right off the bat "No I'm not Alt-Right, what is that?"

No, you misunderstood my reply. I meant that just because the media calls him the Alt-Right doesn't mean they consider him to be someone from that ideology.
Also keep in mind that MSM ratings are at an all time low. So who are they actually influencing? This is a great time to be alive. Step back and look at the irony of it. The Chans/reddit etc are nothing but blogs. Yet the MSM is extremely threatened by them, even the political establishment is threatened by them labeling anyone or any alternative media source as "fake news".

We begin by discussing the history of GamerGate. Nick tells us how the growing prevalence of diversity propaganda in gaming journalism led to major pushback from fans. We learn how Milo Yiannopoulos appeared on the scene and used GamerGate to build a personal brand for himself. This leads to a consideration of Milo’s shady behavior.
