I wish all a Happy Thanksgiving! Appreciate - and be thankful for - the blessings you have, especially those ones you don't think about or realize until shit happens.

My Dad passed yesterday morning, and it got really "real" today at the viewing. Don't ever take anything truly important for granted.

Not sure exactly what has been going on with your dad, read he died somewhere... I am VERY sorry to hear about this. I hope you can relax a bit to absorb and rekindle treasures of memories between you two. Without memories there really is nothing.

i'm looking at the tri-city area - kings, johnson, bristol....have any inside scoop for me? are any better than the other? other options i should consider?
I'm sorry for your loss, CT. The most important thing for all of us, is our faith in God, and our family and loved ones. Losing a loved one is never easy, but with our faith, we know they are in Heaven.
I lost my grandma on Monday. She was 95 years old, and an amazing woman, we all love her. We have a big family. Like you said, this Thanksgiving I think we will be thankful for family, and grateful to be a part of such a wonderful one.
