Is Trump’s investigation of vaccine-dangers dead?

Trump has made two key appointments in the area of childhood vaccination. The first was Scott Gottlieb, the director of the FDA. What does Gottlieb have to say?

From fiercepharma.com: “…antivaccine activists were disappointed with Trump’s appointment for FDA head, Scott Gottlieb, who has said any theories of a link between vaccines and autism have been ‘thoroughly debunked’.”

Trump’s second key appointment has now been revealed. Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald takes over as the head of the CDC.

Georgia Department of Public Health: “’Immunizations are the best way to protect infants and children from childhood diseases, like whooping cough and measles that can be life-threatening at young ages’,” said Brenda Fitzgerald, M.D., commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health [before her appointment to lead the CDC]. “It is critical for parents to talk to their child’s doctor to ensure they are up-to-date on immunizations, because no child should have to suffer a vaccine-preventable illness’.”

In 2014, Dr. Fitzgerald wrote an op-ed in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: “I’ve heard all the arguments against vaccination. All have been debunked…”

My perception of Trumps stand on vaccines, is an area where I had hopes on him. What about RFK Jr? Wasn't he supposed to be in a task force investigating the safety of vaccines?

Yes, I had high hopes for the same reason, hiring RFK jr.

The quotes of those two bureaucrats he appointed really turned me off.

Remind me how I went to a specialist doctor a few years ago to investigate a symptom I was having. He made a strong pitch for me to get the flu shot on our first visit and I told him I wanted nothing to do with it. He kept going on how I could die from the flu.
That gave me a very bad impression of his professional ability. I got the feeling he gets a kickback from the pharma company for every flu shot he sells. There are quite a few people who got Gillian-Barre syndrome and were left in varying degrees of paralysis from the flu vaccine. Most people just complain that when they got it they just got the worst case of the flu in their life.

The vaccine issue is one of the main reasons people are increasingly not trusting their doctors and are exploring alternative treatments.

Now we have even less respect for the CDC and the FDA and respect was already at all time low.

Many people, even of those that are not too bright, recognize when they are being pushed, mandating something that is supposedly good for you or your baby, and then follow it up with massive propaganda from payed shills doesn't make sense. If it really is a good thing it would be self evident and you don't need to push people with fooling or forcing them to comply.

Trump may have had a sincere interest in investigating vaccines, but it's certain that the entities that are pulling out all the stops to force the needle on us all "explained" to Trump why he wasn't going to be permitted to do so.
The night has come upon us, and we have but two choices: to fear it, or to face it bravely while looking to the Light that cannot be overcome. John 8:12
