Lately, we have had a couple gun stores hit, if you tighten up gun laws in one area, the crooks just find another area to try...

Catch and release. My boy saw a kid in school showing off a couple guns bragging about where he got them and told the principal. The kid was arrested and we found out that he broke into a local small arms place and stole 5 guns total. One week later the kid was back in school.
They just don't prosecute anything here but DUI, there is no getting out of that unless the cop dies... Which was timely for my sons case.
