Man opens fire inside Oklahoma restaurant before 'armed citizen' shoots, kills him, police say

A man “opened fire” Thursday in an Oklahoma restaurant and injured at least two people before he was fatally shot by a bystander, police said.
The gunfire unfolded at about 6:30 p.m. local time inside Louie's on the Lake in Oklahoma City, Fox 25 News reported.
The unidentified shooter entered the restaurant and fired his gun, hitting at least two people, Oklahoma City Police tweeted. The man, police said, "was apparently shot-to-death by an armed citizen."

Lake Hefner shooting update: A man walked into the Louie’s restaurant and opened fire with a gun. Two people were shot. One person has been taken to a hospital with serious injuries. A bystander with a pistol confronted the shooter outside the restaurant and fatally shot him.
Authorities initially said that "three citizens were injured, two of whom were shot." The two who were shot were brought to the hospital and are expected to survive, police said, who added that the suspect is the only confirmed fatality.

Authorities said a motive was not immediately clear.
Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt tweeted that he is "in touch with the City Manager & the Police Chief" and "as OCPD has reported, the suspect is dead."
He said police were asking people to avoid the area of East Wharf so authorities could continue their investigation.
