    Within a year or two, the US will be a net energy exporter.
    This doesn't appear to be the trend to me. And I haven't read this projection anywhere else.

    Nevertheless, that was a fascinating video as it pertains to current geopolitics, and explains a lot of what Trump is up to and why.

    I disagree with the last two sentences of the OP post. The importies are not working. They are on the public dole for the majority. The importation is actually exacerbating the monetary situation.

    Already receiving word here that import prices will be going up.

    Not due to any additional tariff, but because China has removed its Energy subsidy to manufacturing.

    Depending on the type of product manufactured could go up 10 - 12%
