    Primitive Technology Sling

    This video has over fifteen million views and the guy never says a word. I think he needs to study some roping techniques from cowboys to improve his accuracy.

    Goood vid. Thanks for posting it. I used to make home made slings when I was a kid. Spent many hours, lots of fun with them. I have read that the Navajo were pretty good at hunting with slings after their weapons were taken away and they were on reservations.

    Some throwing techniques. The first one is similar to what you would throw if you were going to rope a cows head. The second one he calls a figure 8 and is somewhat similar to what's called a hoolihan by cowboys used to rope horses out of a herd in a corral.
