Lets face it if it wasnt for the roman empire that destroyed the Celts and their culture by death and enslavement the world would be a much different world than we have today. No dark ages.

Our world today IMO is a direct result of the roman empire and its derivations. To them it was war/Might makes Right. Their red capes marching in victory aafter spilling blood of others who didnt go along with the romans ideas about freedom.

They declined and the gauntlet of the holy roman emipre took over... war after war ... Oh and dont forget the inquisition!

They too have faded and The british take charge. once again wearing red uniforms and continuing on the bloody wars of conquest.

Again the Roman legacy was passed on to the US Where by we continue war after war for what seems like forever!

So its too bad that the Celts couldnt have wiped out roman conquest which would have allowed the Celtic culture to thrive. The Celts believed hard work is its own reward and that nobody has a right to anything you have made or earned. They also had a very tight family structure. Too bad they had limited waring skills due to the fact that they had complex trading structures with neighbors and never really needed them. I guess the motto "Be Prepared" is and always was a good thing. The Celts lived from North Africa to the northern tip of the UK!

The world you talk of was full of brutality, it was so heinous I don't post about it here, ST Patrick
saved the entire peoples of the UK, he lived in a world where people were taken as
slaves and brutalized, the chief two hills over warred and enslaved, this is what N Europe
was like, they were worse than the Africans today, Vikings would raid developed Roman lands for slaves,
mass murdering educated people and selling them to the Muslims and Khazars, this is the world you
are defending, Rome may have did some brutal things, but they were people of their time and they
built Europe, they built the roads, they built the cities, nobody else, even though the Romans
themselves were brutal, they were far more advanced than the lands they were
invading, a land with NO LAW, shaman walking around sacrificing anyone they wanted,
nobody challenging them, a land of stupid superstition, sacrificing their most beautiful maidens,
pretty disgusting even for that time. Most of where the Romans went was empty, later on mass waves of Germans came and settled places like Spain and France, for the safety of Rome, they were being pushed out by the Huns and other peoples like the Vikings, these people were all tribal, there was no nations, no language no peoples, the total uniter of Europe and Father of Europe is Charles the Great, he stopped what was left of this heinous brutality. And the news gets worse too. I could go on.

Charles the Great was a German and builder and is targeted and hated for it.

That world was far worse than the Classical World, the Greeks recorded some of this brutality,
500BC, and it is even worse than what I posted above, cannibalism too.

Some of these people became Europes greatest defenders, like the Crusaders who were
mostly Viking tribes. People should learn this history, the Muslims had a pincer move on
Europe, if it was not for the Romans there would be NO Europe, you would all be easy
targets for mass murder and assimilation. And for the record, historians make it very clear,
the Byzantines are Rome, we call them Byzantine, they did not call themselves this.

If you go back far enough we all came from brutal lands, history is what it is.
And you have to recognize it for that.

All Europeans needs to be honest with this history, or we all lose, the answers to
all our problems have already been solved in the past, we need builders and unity,
leaders like our forefathers, like Charles the Great and Constantine, and they were
great Christians building Christian lands for defense and strength, for the people.
Charles saved literature and Latin, knowledge, became a patron of this, education,
his family fought the Muslims to the death for centuries, then he had the northerners
convert to Christianity, gave them an ultimatum, at that point they were not allowed
to take Christian slaves to sell to the Khazars and Muslims, the numbers are comparable
to the slaves the Muslims took based in North Africa, millions.
