On the “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast,” author Hillary Johnson and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. discussed the origins of chronic fatigue syndrome — and government agencies’ reluctance to fund research into the debilitating disease.

It’s no mystery that chronic fatigue syndrome (or myalgic encephalomyelitis [ME]) is a viral disease, according to Hillary Johnson, author of “Osler’s Web: Inside the Labyrinth of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic.”

“There’s one infectious agent that causes ME, just as there’s one infectious agent that causes tuberculosis [and] one infectious agent that causes syphilis,” Johnson told Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on a recent episode of “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast.”

“It’s not some ‘big stew’ or some combination of things that produces this extremely discrete disease,” she said.

Johnson and Kennedy discussed the origins of ME, which date to the late 1970s and early 1980s, around the same time AIDS emerged in the U.S.

From the beginning, experts commonly dismissed ME, with some disparagingly calling it “yuppie flu,” Kennedy pointed out.

He reminded listeners that when people first started taking notice of what came to be called chronic fatigue syndrome, which appeared mainly in women, some attributed it to “the incapacity of women to perform corporate-type jobs.”

Psychiatrists and public health officials “blamed this on women,” he said.

In the early 1980s, health experts wondered whether ME was a sort of “subset” of AIDS, or if AIDS was a subset of ME, because cases of the two diseases were “exploding simultaneously,” said Johnson.

She said the term “chronic fatigue syndrome” was coined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1988.

“It was a name that was really conjured to cover up the severity of this disease, which actually for decades prior to ‘88, was known ‘myalgic encephalomyelitis,’” she said.

One of the reasons ME was ignored, lied about and underfunded is that it is a disease of women, said Johnson.

“Certainly men do get this disease,” she said, “but statistically it’s very well known and documented that women get this disease in a ratio of … 3 to 1 [or] 4 to 1 … [it] could be [that] as many as 80% of people who suffer this disease are women.”

By conservative estimates, Johnson said, about 1% of the world’s population has ME.

“That is shocking and appalling — to think that one out of every 100 people is suffering from this absolutely devastating, disabling disease,” she said.
NIH, CDC obfuscate ME severity, origins

The term “chronic fatigue syndrome” was a sort of “corporate brand” the CDC created to obfuscate the severity of ME, said Johnson.

She added:

“This is very likely a transmissible infectious disease and it can be lethal. People do die of it. The morbidity is simply unknown.

“I think one of the biggest misnomers about ME is that it’s mysterious and very little is known about it. And in fact, it’s not mysterious and a lot is known about it. You just would never know that because the NIH [National Institutes of Health] and CDC have kept such a tight grip on information about ME.”

Kennedy brought up the theory that polio vaccine contamination may have introduced a simian virus (SV40) into the population, causing an outbreak of ME. He also proposed the possibility that ME is caused by chemical exposures or vaccines.

“The problem with a disease like this is whatever’s causing it is almost certainly emblematic of a failure of government regulation,” Kennedy said.

But Johnson said she strongly believes ME is caused by a virus.

“You always have to come back to what is the most rational explanation,” she said. “The polio vaccine hypothesis has never really been proven … some people say, ‘oh, it’s a combination of toxins in the environment and stress’ … but not everybody with ME has been exposed to chemicals … not everybody with ME is under stress.”

These things “don’t add up,” she said.

She raised the possibility that AIDS patients with weakened immune systems may have picked up the virus that causes ME and “served as a vector to spread the ME virus into the general population.”

“The immunology of ME absolutely screams infection,” she said. “Every abnormality in the immune system that you look at in this disease — it suggests there’s an antigen present. The response of the immune system is exactly what you would see when there’s an infection.”

Plus, Johnson added, the only risk factors for ME that we know of so far are being human, being female and coming into contact with another person with ME.

Kennedy and Johnson agreed it is difficult to get funding for research into ME. This year, Johnson said, the NIH proposed to fund three scientists with only approximately $7 million for ME research. “Anything under like $10 million or $15 million at NIH is considered ‘fairy dust,’” she said.

The two also agreed the NIH is wasting money looking for genetic causes of diseases.

“Genes don’t cause epidemics,” Kennedy said. “You need an environmental toxin or you need a microbe.”

“There is a limited universe of what can be causing this, and we should identify those 20 or 30 causes and then eliminate them with science one at a time,” he added. “That’s what NIH ought to be doing.”

Fully Vaccinated Young Adults suffer 73% increase in Heart Attacks & Strokes and 92% higher Mortality Rate compared to Unvaccinated

Official figures show there has been a 67% increase compared to the historical average in the number of people aged 15 to 44 suffering heart attacks, cardiac arrest, myocarditis, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases since this age group was first offered the Covid-19 injection in Scotland.

And further analysis shows this issue is actually getting worse, with the numbers for 2022 so far revealing a 73% increase against the historical average.

Meanwhile, data published by the Office for National Statistics show that between January 2021 and January 2022, double vaccinated 18 to 39-year-olds in England were on average 92% more likely to die than unvaccinated young adults of the same age.

In January 2021 the mortality rate per 100,000 person-years among the partly vaccinated equated to 119.9. Meaning the mortality rate was 77% higher than the mortality rate among the unvaccinated. This then fell to 68.3 deaths per 100,000 in February, before climbing to 90.1 in March, then 108.8 in April.

This means at this point the mortality rate among the partly vaccinated was 193.3% higher than the mortality rate among the unvaccinated. But not long after following the second dose being administered things get even worse.

The highest mortality rate among the double vaccinated (at least 21 days ago) occurred in September 2021, with 125.9 deaths per 100,000 person-years. In the same month, the mortality rate among the unvaccinated equated to 46.8. Meaning the double vaccinated mortality rate was 169% higher than the unvaccinated mortality rate.

But the largest statistical difference occurred in November 2021. The mortality rate among the unvaccinated equated to 33.4 deaths per 100,000 person-years, whereas the mortality rate among the double vaccinated equated to 107. A difference of 220.4%.

Woo hoo! We’ve been exonerated in an article published in a peer-reviewed medical journal that talks about all the medical mischief that has been going on. Finally!

Here is my favorite part:

I remember author Dr. Russell Blaylock, retired brain surgeon and university professor, from the old days when I used to do transcripts of guests on shows of "Radio Liberty " Dr. Stan Monteith. Dr. Blaylock was one of the first M.D.s to point out the uselessness and harmfulness of the flu shots, and he recommended extreme cautiousness in choosing which vaccines and in which form your children will take. I remember he said that each Fall flu season there are new strains of coronavirus influenza but the flu "vaccine" that is available in the current flu season is made up of "virus" strains of previous years so they are of no use. (close paraphrase if my memory serves me correctly).

More "science" from a non-scientist who is also not a medical doctor.

“For people who are 50 or 60, they will probably have to be boosted every six months, until we get even better vaccines,” Gates told CNN personality Anderson Cooper. “As we get more data, they might even make that shorter for people, you know, say 60 or over 70, where the duration seems to be a bit lower.”

That was shortly after Gates, who has received four of the jabs, said he had tested positive for Covid.

"The prevailing medical Gates advice on COVID shots seems to be if at first they don’t succeed, try, try again. And then some," Washington Times columnist Cheryl K. Chumley noted in a May 16 op-ed.

"Gates is the guy the media crowned altruist of the year for pouring millions of his own dollars into COVID-19 vaccine research — and then pooh-poohed any kind of in-depth coverage about his conflicts of interest of earning big bucks back from the very vaccines he promoted and pushed as necessary to save the world from pandemic deaths (despite early data that showed recovery rates ranging from 97% to 99%)," Chumley wrote.

A clue to the altruism of Gates?

From CNBC in January 2019, before the pandemic — this headline: “Bill Gates: My ‘best investment’ turned $10 billion into $200 billion worth of economic benefit.” The story went on to mention that Gates found “investing in global health organizations aimed at increasing access to vaccines creates a 20-to-1 return,” while “putting $10 billion into the S&P 500 would have grown only to $17 billion over 18 years.”

"No wonder he wants booster upon booster upon booster," Chumley wrote. "No wonder he wants whole populations of the world reliant on shots at six-month intervals, no, wait, maybe four-month intervals, no wait, maybe 'shorter' than that."

I very much appreciate the work of Steve Kirsch.
I do not in any way want to negatively criticize his work.

However, when I read the following phrases, I think this does not make sense to me.
"And the CDC death data does not indicate suspected COVID vaccine deaths. "

What is the definition of "COVID" and what is the definition of "vaccine."

It is my understanding that almost all doctors and scientists now are in agreement that the "COVID - 19 vaccines" ARE NOT true "vaccines" and do not meet any definition of "vaccine."

I have never read any clear definition of "COVID" or "COVID-19" and have seen several doctors and scientists and scholarly commentators use the terms in varying ways, sometimes being synonymous with "virus" and "SARS CoV-2 virus" and sometimes indicating it is the infectious symptomatic contagious phase of "this virus" but is not the same thing as "SARS CoV 2. (Testing is a whole other big story.)

Same confusing wording to me as in first statement above. "died from COVID?"
We never have been provided a consistent discreet definition of "COVID" so how could we count how many "died from COVID" ?

I have come to understand that whatever is in the "vector" that causes people who have not received "the vaccine" to contract or catch "COVID' or "the virus"

is the same thing that is IN "the vaccine."

So those unvaccinated people with "COVID" are the same as people who have the vaccine inside of them.

My speech at the CDC meeting today

I was selected to give a 3-minute comment

You can watch it live on May 19, 2022. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the COVID booster for kids 5 to 11.

Here is the link for the agenda and the livestream.

The meeting starts at 11am Eastern time. The public comment section starts at 1pm EDT.

Sadly, my personal experience has been that my speech will not make a difference. I’m sure they will unanimously approve the booster for kids 5 to 11. I’m sure none of them will reach out to me to see the data. None of them will share their data publicly because they don’t have it. I guarantee it.

However, I learned early in life that nobody ever won a chess game by resigning. So at least I will have done my part to save the lives of our kids.
My 3 minute speech

Hi. My name is Steve Kirsch. I am executive director of the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation. I have no conflicts.

I urge you not to approve the boosters because we now have new direct observational data that shows very clearly that the vaccine is killing more kids than it saves.

But you shouldn’t take my word for it.

There is a simple “reality check” that every member of the committee should do before this vote.

And you must do this research because the CDC death data for those under 25 is not complete for any date after January 2021. And the CDC death data does not indicate suspected COVID vaccine deaths. There is no post-marketing data on this.

In short, the government has not provided you with the key data you need to make an assessment. They have assumed that the vaccines haven’t caused a single death. That simply isn’t true.

The ONLY way to get the data you need is to do your own post-marketing survey.

Fortunately, there is an easy way for you to do this and I want to share the method I used. You can copy my method or come up with your own method.

Here’s what I did….

I have hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.

I asked my followers, “Do you know any children who have died since Jan 2020? How many died from COVID? How many might have died from the vaccine?”

Recall shouldn’t be a significant bias because a child death from either COVID or the vaccine is an event that nobody forgets. So even if there is a bias towards recalling more recent events, the bias affects both options equally.

If COVID and the vaccine have the same kill rate, we’d expect to have four times as many COVID deaths reported than vaccine deaths since the time period was more than four times larger for COVID than the vaccine for this age range (29 months vs. 7 months).

If the CDC is correct that the mRNA vaccines haven’t caused any deaths, the numbers should be very lopsided with dozens of COVID deaths and 0 vaccine deaths.

What I found was the exact opposite:

There were 0 reported deaths from COVID, but there were 6 deaths that were judged to be vaccine related

All 6 deaths were unexpected and happened to previously healthy kids shortly after vaccination

In 80% of all cases, autopsies were done.

I am happy to share the details of each of these unexplained deaths with the committee so you can do your own independent investigation including viewing the autopsy reports. None of these deaths was reported to the VAERS system.

If you cannot explain the result I got, you should not approve these boosters at this time. The data I received clearly shows the vaccines are doing more harm than good in this age group. There is simply no other explanation.

It is not hard to see that for yourself if you are open minded. Do you want to see the data before you vote today?
Summary

I stayed up all night writing this. I hope it will make a difference, but I’m not optimistic. The committee members typically “tune out” during public comments. I have never seen them reference anything that is said during the public comment period. But at least I tried.

I know that the chair is listening because she stopped me when I insulted the committee in an earlier appearance. But she ignores everything I say otherwise.

Watched an interesting show today on hepatitis is children under 5 years of age. About 600 children have had serious unusual kind of hepatitis that is related to "COVID", not to the COVID vaccine. Several of these 3 and 4 years olds have required liver transplants.

CDC Advisory Panel Approves 3rd Dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine for Kids 5-11

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s independent vaccine advisory panel today endorsed the use of a third Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 - 11, two days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted Emergency Use Authorization for the booster.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) independent vaccine advisory panel today endorsed the use of a third Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 – 11.

Eleven members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted in favor of the booster shot.

Dr. Helen Keipp Talbot, associate professor of medicine and health policy at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, voted against endorsing the shots. Dr. Kevin A. Ault, with the department of obstetrics and gynecology, University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas, abstained.

The ACIP’s recommendation came two days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Pfizer’s request for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of a single booster dose for this age group, saying the third shot should be administered at least five months after completion of a primary series with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky is expected to sign off on today’s ACIP committee recommendation, clearing the way for healthcare workers to begin administering the shots.

During today’s meeting, Pfizer presented data from a small group of 30 children ages 5 to 11 showing that a third dose boosted infection-blocking antibody levels against Omicron 22-fold one month after administration compared to two doses, CNBC reported.

Dr. Charu Sabharwal, Pfizer’s director of vaccine clinical research, said the increased antibody levels should confer real-world protection against the Omicron variant, though the company did not present efficacy data during Thursday’s meeting.

However, as The Defender reported, antibody levels alone are not indicative of immune protection. When it comes to COVID-19, T-cell and natural killer cell responses are the crucial part of immune protection.

The FDA asserts the presence of SARS-COV-2 antibodies is not necessarily indicative of immune protection from COVID-19.

Moreover, the FDA’s Vaccine and Related Biological Product Advisory Committee last month reached a consensus that antibody levels cannot be used as a correlate for vaccine effectiveness.

Nevertheless, the FDA used immunobridging as a means to justify authorization of the Pfizer primary series vaccine to children ages 5 to 11, as explained in The Defender here and here.


The FDA and CDC this week used the same data to support authorization of boosters for children this age.

The FDA’s authorization of the boosters earlier this week came despite data showing higher infection rates among fully vaccinated children in the 5-to-11 age group compared to unvaccinated children, no studies testing the efficacy of the vaccine against the current dominant BA.2 COVID-19 variant and two new studies showing that for vaccinated people who get Omicron, the infection provides better protection against future infections than a second booster dose.

The FDA analyzed data from an ongoing Pfizer clinical trial in which a small subset of only 67 children in the age group had higher antibody levels one month after receiving a booster dose.

The FDA said it did not identify any new safety concerns and found the children in the trial experienced the same mild side effects other people do after receiving a booster.

However, a subset of only 67 children is not large enough to detect potential adverse events like myocarditis, and it is unknown how rapidly any protection provided wanes because trial participants were not followed beyond a 28-day period.

Pfizer’s application for EUA for the third shot, submitted on April 26, was based on data from a small study involving only 140 children 5 through 11 years old who received a booster dose six months after the second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine as part of the primary series.

Pfizer said 30 children who participated in the study revealed a 36-fold increase in virus-fighting antibodies — levels high enough to fight the Omicron variant.

“The clinical trial used to support the notion of a COVID-19 booster for 5- to 11-year-olds is entirely inadequate to make any such recommendation,” Brian Hooker, chief science advisor at Children’s Health Defense, told The Defender.

“This small-scale, limited-time trial contains only 140 patients, which is not sufficiently sized to assess vaccine adverse events at all, especially rarer injuries such as the devastating medical maladies sustained by Maddie de Garay — an adolescent injured in the original Pfizer clinical trial.”

Hooker said he was also concerned there are “no data on the prevention of COVID-19 infection, only neutralizing antibody titers, which are not necessarily predictive of transmission and severity of the disease.”

During today’s meeting, Pfizer presented data from a small group of 30 children ages 5 to 11 showing that a third dose boosted infection-blocking antibody levels against Omicron 22-fold one month after administration compared to two doses, CNBC reported.

Dr. Charu Sabharwal, Pfizer’s director of vaccine clinical research, said the increased antibody levels should confer real-world protection against the Omicron variant, though the company did not present efficacy data during Thursday’s meeting.

However, as The Defender reported, antibody levels alone are not indicative of immune protection. When it comes to COVID-19, T-cell and natural killer cell responses are the crucial part of immune protection.

The FDA asserts the presence of SARS-COV-2 antibodies is not necessarily indicative of immune protection from COVID-19.

Moreover, the FDA’s Vaccine and Related Biological Product Advisory Committee last month reached a consensus that antibody levels cannot be used as a correlate for vaccine effectiveness.

Nevertheless, the FDA used immunobridging as a means to justify authorization of the Pfizer primary series vaccine to children ages 5 to 11, as explained in The Defender here and here.


The FDA and CDC this week used the same data to support authorization of boosters for children this age.

The FDA’s authorization of the boosters earlier this week came despite data showing higher infection rates among fully vaccinated children in the 5-to-11 age group compared to unvaccinated children, no studies testing the efficacy of the vaccine against the current dominant BA.2 COVID-19 variant and two new studies showing that for vaccinated people who get Omicron, the infection provides better protection against future infections than a second booster dose.

The FDA analyzed data from an ongoing Pfizer clinical trial in which a small subset of only 67 children in the age group had higher antibody levels one month after receiving a booster dose.

The FDA said it did not identify any new safety concerns and found the children in the trial experienced the same mild side effects other people do after receiving a booster.

However, a subset of only 67 children is not large enough to detect potential adverse events like myocarditis, and it is unknown how rapidly any protection provided wanes because trial participants were not followed beyond a 28-day period.

Pfizer’s application for EUA for the third shot, submitted on April 26, was based on data from a small study involving only 140 children 5 through 11 years old who received a booster dose six months after the second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine as part of the primary series.

Pfizer said 30 children who participated in the study revealed a 36-fold increase in virus-fighting antibodies — levels high enough to fight the Omicron variant.

“The clinical trial used to support the notion of a COVID-19 booster for 5- to 11-year-olds is entirely inadequate to make any such recommendation,” Brian Hooker, chief science advisor at Children’s Health Defense, told The Defender.

“This small-scale, limited-time trial contains only 140 patients, which is not sufficiently sized to assess vaccine adverse events at all, especially rarer injuries such as the devastating medical maladies sustained by Maddie de Garay — an adolescent injured in the original Pfizer clinical trial.”

Hooker said he was also concerned there are “no data on the prevention of COVID-19 infection, only neutralizing antibody titers, which are not necessarily predictive of transmission and severity of the disease.”
