This looks interesting because of the privacy aspect of the coin, and I do own some.


Monero is a secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency. It's not a premine (unlike darkcoin) scamcoin or a pump and dump (imo).

It's a CPU coin, since the hashing algorithm is designed to make it difficult to implement for GPU let alone ASIC.
