Have you ever had any issues with the AK drums? I've never owned one, nor used one myself, but I've read several negative reports about them. I remember after hurricane Katrina, they jumped from $75ish to $100+ locally.

I haven't had any problem with the Bulgarian drums. These look like the wind up Bulgarian drums (Chinese copis). I heard that some have had minor problems with the Romanian drums (non-wind up) but I haven't experienced any problems myself.
