The Ascent of Money

I saw this a while ago and I remember it being pretty informative. There is A LOT left out, him being an agent and all, but the presentation and history provided is decent.

It's not a 'GOTCHA' or a hit piece on financiers, but he does mention the Shylock story and how usurious Jews use to have to wear yellow arm bands and do their business under bridges, as well as the advent of "ghettos".

I can't see Youtube at the moment but I'm currently reading the book The Ascent of Money by Nial Ferguson. Is this the same thing?

A very good book so far albeit a bit biased towards the gold standard.
