I think it should be done online from the comfort of your own home. Sign in with a voter registration number or some form of ID, and have the results go to the County as well as to the respective campaign so that they can keep track as well.

Like they say "if you can bank online you can vote online" trillions of dollars everyday swirl around the internet and if it is safe enough for that it's safe enough to vote.
something internet-based could be plausible - it seems the main compromise would be the principal of ANONYMITY of ballots-

At a polling place, you sign in, complete your anonymous-ballot, goes in box, ballots in box match # of signees. However individual ballots are not associable with individual voters.

You'd have to come up with a way where the internet approach didn't compromise that anonymity- all done in an utterly credible and transparent way. Red-pillers already know, virtually everything we do on the internet is transparent to the spooks. Your "signing-in" to your bank online, is all good coz your identity is key to your account. With the notion of internet voting, we have the challenge of then disassociating the voter, from the ballot they proceed to cast.

There'd also be the coercion problem, IE in public polling place, all can see that an individual voter isn't being coerced by anyone else in the voting booth. Granted, absentee/mail-in voting opens the door to coercion.. but it's a necessary evil for voters who won't be in town on election day.

Internet voting would be a convenience in a perfect world, but in the world we have, it also introduces a whole new set of avenues for election fraud. There's a whole set of election-fraud avenues which are shut down, by voters showing up in person to polling places.

(Blackbox) voting was sold as a panacea to hanging chads, and now we know it was TPTB's panacea to the inconvenience they formerly endured in rigging paper-ballot elections.

It's worth further discussion though... finding some internet approach which met the needs of:

    security
    accuracy with total transparency
"anonymity" (voters and ballots cast are disconnected)
    "voluntary" (no coercion)
auditability (meaning post-election paper hand recounts)

Sounds like a tall order, off hand I'd say more than the internet approach could deliver

Yes, you understand my skepticism perfectly. Thank you for expounding more fully on what I was only implying.

    BLACK BOX VOTING EXCLUSIVE

You may be hearing lately that the problem with Iowa caucuses (reported the wrong result, "lost" results) and Nevada (more votes than voters, took stupidly long to count a one-race ballot) were due to "amateurs." But have you heard that Nevada and Iowa hired professionals to run the the caucus?

You might just raise one eyebrow with that; you might just say, "Sheesh. Won't hire those guys again." But then comes conflict of interest. It turns out that at least three of the top guns listed below had been involved in the campaign of a single top candidate, and then went on to run the (botched, but beneficially so) caucuses.

"Two former Executive Directors of the Republican Party of Iowa, Gentry Collins and Jim Anderson, were hired by the Nevada GOP to oversee its 2012 caucus operations. The Nevada GOP contracted CAP Public Affairs, a firm led by Collins, Anderson, and Alan Philp, because Collins and Anderson had overseen the caucus process in Iowa," writes The Iowa Republican:

    http://theiowarepublican.com/2012/ne...orse-for-iowa/

"The state Republican party is going pro. Chair Amy Tarkanian has tapped ... Alan Philp and Gentry Collins (ex-RNC guys) on board. Plus Cory Drumright..." Writes the Nevada News Bureau.

    http://www.nevadanewsbureau.com/2011...vada-politics/

"Pro" indeed. The problem is, all three of the above-mentioned "pros" have been part of the campaign of one of the contestants in their caucus. But if both your eyebrows aren't raised yet, take a look at this:

"Why do I consider Alan Philp as one of the dirtiest politicians in Colorado? ... Just look at his documented track record," a horrified blogger who tags himself "what goes around" wrote in 2008.

    http://www.coloradopols.com/diary/5731/

At issue: As TV legal pundit Jeralyn Merritt described them, "Willie Horton-style" deceptive ads, which created an uproar against Alan Philp's Trailhead Group, and very nearly landed him in jail.

    http://www.5280.com/blogs/2006/09/24...against-ritter

"Trailhead may face criminal charges," warned reporter Jason Bane in the Colorado Independent.

    http://coloradoindependent.com/804/t...iminal-charges

But while everyone agreed the operative's ads were thoroughly odious, he was not arrested. "Alan Philp not going to the pokey," reads the headline, unfortunately with no further details.

    http://coloradolib.blogspot.com/2007...-to-pokey.html

And then came the finances of Philp's Trailhead organization. Money was pouring in from elites like the Coors Family at $50,000 a pop, and going out to other groups, who claim they never got it, according to documents published at Daily Kos:

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/0...-Sloppy-Chefs-

A string of problematic financial transactions are alleged for organizations while Philp was in charge.

    http://coloradoindependent.com/639/u...ney-laundering

"We made a mistake based on an errant reading of the state statutes, and we're taking steps to remedy the problem," said Alan Philp, executive director of the Colorado Republican Party." While Philp was its director, the Colorado Republican Committee failed to file notices of large contributions, as required by law, despite receiving 65 such contributions between Oct. 10 and 23.

    http://www.fishnette.net/creds/gopcash.htm

But according to Philp's bio on his own Web site, he was "Regional Political Director for a nine-state region for the Republican National Committee." And he didn't know the rules?

    http://cappublicaffairs.com/

"Oy vey. Here comes Alan Philp again," writes Cara DeGette of the Colorado Springs Independent. "Oh, yeah, oh yeah. The down 'n dirty, hardball Republican 527 committee that two years ago tracked a bloody path of slash-'em politics all over the state? ...It was run by an operative named Alan Philp, who was flogged for broadcasts and campaign fliers" which were ... well... bald-faced lies.

    http://www.csindy.com/colorado/whos-...nt?oid=1142486

"I am excited to announce the addition of these seasoned and well respected political operatives to the Nevada Republican Party," enthused Amy Tarkanian, Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, in a press release.

    http://www.nevadagop.org/nevada-repu...-to-2012-team/

"Cory Drumright will serve as the Nevada Republican Party Caucus Director overseeing the day to day operations for the 2012 Nevada Republican Presidential Caucus," she announced.

But here's the problem. Black Box Voting does not support or deride any candidate, but we do attack bad policy. And it's bad policy to have three guys in charge of a caucus, all of whom had recently worked for one of the candidates in the race.

When you add the apparently revolting ethics of Philp, along with the troubling Iowa caucus management of Collins, you've got a bad brew.

Because so many citizens, bloggers, and tweeters put these caucus problems out in the sunshine, two black eyes on the face of democracy showed up in public, albeit with a heavy coat of makeup applied by the media.

It appears that what really happened was anything but amateur, but The AP writes:

"There are no voting machine, no election monitors, and collecting the votes is a strange haphazard affair."
    http://www.theatlanticwire.com/natio...ocratic/48243/

But there were monitors, and they are called "the public", and while the counting appeared to be haphazard, or crooked, the reason we know this is because of public watchfulness. Heck yes they'd like to insert voting machines. It's so much smoother when no one can actually see the counting.

Both Tarkanian, Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, and Matt Strawn, Chairman of the Iowa Republican Party, have resigned.

Re: Ron Paul Super PAC to fight election fraud

Super PAC supporting Ron Paul is operated by a 9/11 'truther'

Gary Franchi, right, has warned of a 9/11 cover-up, FEMA concentration camps and the New World Order. He leads a Super PAC using unlimited campaign contributions to support Ron Paul, left, in the Republican presidential race.

By Bill Dedman Investigative Reporter msnbc.com

    http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_ne...-a-911-truther

As libertarian Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul looks for a state he can win, some of his supporters have turned to a new theme: voting fraud.

A Super PAC supporting Paul has pledged to monitor the vote in all the remaining states, using an army of exit pollsters to fight what it calls results that are "outrageous, unacceptable and patently un-American." The group, called Revolution PAC, has spent half a million dollars supporting Paul with videos, webcasts, online ads, direct mail, billboards and radio ads in primary and caucus states.

We first noticed Revolution PAC last week, when it told the Federal Election Commission that it couldn't meet the deadline to identify its donors, because of an error by its bank. Now Revolution PAC has filed its report.

As with many other so-called "independent" Super PACs, which can receive unlimited donations outside the normal rules of campaign finance, the pro-Paul group is operated by people with close ties to the candidate. The group's advisory board members include Penny Langford Freeman, Paul's political director from 1998 to 2007, and Joe Becker, chief legal counsel for Ron Paul 2008.

The leader of the group, its founder, chairman and treasurer, is Gary Franchi, a promoter of conspiracy theories and sophisticated social-media entrepreneur in the resurgent movement known as the Patriots.
The 34-year-old political activist from the Chicago suburbs told msnbc.com that his goal is a "non-violent intellectual revolution, which results in a full restoration of the federal Constitution."

Online videos produced by Franchi, and online interviews with him, add specifics:

    • Franchi has supported the 9/11 Truth Movement, which supports the idea that the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, werean inside job to create a pretext for a reduction in American liberty, or at least involved a cover-up, with the World Trade Center brought down by a planned U.S. demolition, instead of terrorist-controlled airplanes. Franchi founded the Lone Lantern Society (a reference to Paul Revere indicating that foreign enemies are on American soil). The group supports "the birth of freedom and the death of the New World Order," a secretive elite that is supposedly trying to set up a world government. Lone Lantern has held street demonstrations on the 11th of every month in Chicago and elsewhere, demanding an investigation of 9/11. In New Hampshire in 2008, a video shows Franchi asking Tom Ridge, the former secretary of Homeland Security, who was campaigning for Sen. John McCain, whether Ridge would support an investigation of the "controlled demolition" of the World Trade Center. Ridge was having none of it, saying, "I just don't buy into that. That's a conspiracy theory that has no basis in fact. It's almost out of the Twilight Zone."
    • According to a 2010 reportby the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks domestic fringe groups, "Gary Franchi is one of the leading promoters of a resurgent Patriot conspiracy theory that alleges the government is creating concentration camps for U.S. citizens." In 2009 he co-wrote and co-produced the video "Camp FEMA: American Lockdown," which claims that the Federal Emergency Management Agency is creating concentration camps on air bases and in vacant buildings to house political dissenters when the federal government proclaims martial law. "Your church may have already signed a deal with the devil," reads promotional material for the film. The film questions whether Census data will be used to round up Americans. Clips from Franchi's film on YouTube show Hitler youth marching while the narrator ominously describes President Obama's plans to expand AmeriCorps and the USA Freedom Corps, the volunteer initiative launched by the Bush administration after 9/11.
    • Franchi operates Restore the Republic, which opposes the Federal Reserve, the IRS and the income tax, decries the control of the economy by the Rockefellers and the "banking cartel," and warns of government plans to plant RFID microchips into all Americans. The group was founded by Franchi and filmmaker and Libertarian presidential candidate Aaron Russo, and has been operated by Franchi since Russo's death from cancer in 2007. RTR shares an address with Revolution PAC in Northbrook, Ill. The group, which describes itself as a social media platform for like-minded individuals, promotes Russo's film, "America: Freedom to Fascism," in which Ron Paul declares, "If that's the definition of a police state — that you can't do anything unless the government gives you permission —we're well on our way." In a YouTube video interview with Franchi in 2008, Paul credited the Russo video with bringing a lot of people to his presidential campaign. The group has also placed billboards fueling the bogus claim that Obama is not an American citizen, asking, "Where's the REAL birth certificate?"

Gary Franchi's film "Camp FEMA: American Lockdown" shows Hitler youth marching while the narrator ominously describes President Obama's plans to expand AmeriCorps and the USA Freedom Corps, the volunteer initiative launched by the Bush administration after 9/11.

Franchi has been a frequent guest of Texas talk show host Alex Jones, who warns about the New World Order on his infowars.com and other websites. In a videotaped interview with Jones, Franchi explained that at 17 he began to read about "the committee of 300, the Club of Rome, the Council of Foreign Relations," and other groups of the New World Order.

He said his parents, thinking he was mentally ill, had him heavily medicated for 10 years. But he continued his reading, particularly about the implantation of RFID microchips by government, and formed the Lone Lantern Society to tell people that "the enemies are here."

"It's the truth, it's the message, that's piercing the darkness," Franchi told Jones. "Anything that's done in darkness, anything that is hidden in secret will be revealed. It's having an impact. People are waking up by the millions, Alex, by the millions! The New World Order does not stand a chance."

    'Derogatory'
Franchi agreed to answer questions from msnbc.com, but only by email.

He said labels are distracting, and the description of him by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a "conspiracy theorist" is "derogatory and inflammatory language."

In regard to Sept. 11, he said his view is that "I personally, alongside Russo, 9/11 Family members, and thousands of architects and engineers do advocate for a more thorough investigation, preferably free from the Executive Privilege invoked during the Bush Administration."

Of Paul, Franchi said, "Ron Paul is my candidate because he understands what is affecting this nation, i.e. the Federal Reserve, an unsustainable foreign policy, and the loss of civil liberties under the guise of security."

Paul has had a vague and uncertain connection with fringe views and conspiracy peddlers for decades. In several cases he has welcomed their support, neither repudiating their views nor explicitly endorsing them.

For example, in 2007 Paul was asked by a student and 9/11 skeptic, "We've heard that you have questioned the government's official account." Paul replied, "Well, I never automatically trust anything the government does when they do an investigation because too often I think there’s an area that the government covered up, whether it’s the Kennedy assassination or whatever."

When asked if that meant that he wanted an additional investigation, he added, "I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on."

The year-end accounting to the FEC by Revolution PAC shows that it brought in $518,201 during the second half of 2011, since its founding last summer, and spent $434,432 supporting Paul, with $83,770 in cash on hand at the end of the year.

These amounts are small compared with the official Paul campaign, which raised $26 million (second to Romney among Republican candidates) by year end, and another pro-Paul Super PAC, Endorse Liberty, which spent $3.3 million. A third pro-Paul Super Pac, Santa Rita, spent $320,000.

Larger donors to the Revolution PAC include Texas rancher Margaret Bowman, who gave $50,000; and Scott Banister, an early investor in PayPal, who gave $10,000. Another $10,000 came from Judy Kay Gray, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., who paid $2.5 million to settle a false advertising claim by the Federal Trade Commission in 2008 regarding her company, North American Herb and Spice, and its claims that its oregano oil treated cold and flu.

Large donors received a free book signed by Thomas Woods, an author and member of the Revolution PAC advisory board. Woods is a senior fellow at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Mises is one of the members of the Austrian School of Economics, whose ideas have influenced Paul, such as his call for a return to a gold standard. The PAC paid Woods $1,200 to sign his books for donors.

The Revolution PAC paid $41,487 to Franchi or his group Restore the Republic, including $3,000 a month in management fees, $1,766 a month in rent at their shared office in Northbrook, Ill., and a 10 percent commission on large financial donations solicited. Franchi, the group's chairman and treasurer, said in response to questions that these are reasonable charges, much lower than is common, and that he has provided more support to the PAC than it has paid to him, considering the value of his in-kind donations of his time and services.

"I am personally not a representative for Dr. Paul nor should my beliefs be construed to be his," Franchi told msnbc.com. "Nor am I sure if Ron Paul believes in all the issues that concern me, however I do know I stand with him on the constitutional issues he continues to highlight throughout this election cycle and as he has done for over 20 years. That is why I formed Revolution PAC and produce content that I feel highlight his principled consistency and advocacy of fidelity to the Constitution."

Whoa whoa whoa - In order for a system like this to work, it would require a severe census every year, and a national ID card or equivalent, and pretermilitary encryption and countless other complicated things that you and I will never think of in advance.

We are here to fight against all those things. National ID card (or equivalent) especially.

The Paper ballot system works because only eligible voters are issued a slip (Which will combat illegals from voting if handled properly), and their names are crossed off a list afterwards. There is no perfect system, but I believe the paper ballot to be the closest to accurate. However even the paper ballot system can be corrupted due to the inherent lack of honesty that plagues the current political system.
People (Politicians and their activists especially) lie and cheat to get what they want.
Honest people of integrity need to be overseers of the counting & ballot handling processes, as well as re-counters to ensure the numbers can't be skewed.
Non-affiliated people like you and me need to make sure that the local counters are held accountable with repeatable results from multiple vounteers.

This is the option left open for people who want to exercise their "right" to vote, when they are not happy with any of the nominees. It's called "spoiling" you ballot. I do it every time. I go in and scribble them all out, because none of the douchebags on the ballot represent what I want to see in government.

This way they know that I voted, and that I do not approve of any of them. I encourage people to do the same locally, because even though we all know the LRP is a lie and an illusion of choice, as the old adage goes: If you don't vote, you can't complain.

If our ballots weren't black, I would write in a name of a politician who I supported if there was such a person. But so far we have no Canadian Libertarian rep running for Prime Minister, so I just spoil the ballot.

    http://disquietreservations.blogspot...eaming-up.html

The CIA, FED, GOP, And MSM Are Teaming Up Against Ron Paul And The American People

"In an atmosphere of doubt about the validity of the voting process, it appears that the entire voting process is a sham, a trick to fool the American people into accepting whatever is done to them by creating the illusion that the people somehow voted for and approved of whatever is being done. That's how Batista fooled the Cuban people. That's how the USSR fooled the Soviet citizens. And that's how the American government fools us." - Michael Rivero, "Vote Fraud And The Bankruptcy of The United States."

"An archived clip of different Congressional hearings exposes the fact that the CIA directly plants stories in the media, both in the United States and the rest of the world.
Question: Do you have any people being paid by the CIA who are contributing to a major circulation journal?
Answer: We do have people who submit pieces to American journals.
Question: Do you have any people paid by the CIA who are working for television networks?
Answer: This I think gets into the details id like to get into in executive session. (so the public doesn’t hear how we control all the networks)
Considering that this was going on in the 1950s, it is highly likely that this is happening now and at a much larger extent. The CIA and other government agencies literally control the corporate controlled media." - The Intel Hub.

"splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds." - President John F. Kennedy in 1961.

"We have grown up as a nation, respected for our free institutions and for our ability to maintain a free and open society. There is something about the way the CIA has been functioning that is casting a shadow over our historic position and I feel that we need to correct it." - President Harry S. Truman in 1963.

"I mean, but they're almost like they live in a different world. The military is down, the morale is down, the money isn't there, and they're going looking for a couple more wars to fight. It makes no sense whatsoever. . . There’s been a coup, have you heard? It’s the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything, they run the military. They’re the ones who are over there lobbing missiles and bombs on these countries. It's not even the military that does that. The CIA runs this. And of course the CIA is every bit as secret as the Federal Reserve. And yet think of the harm that they have done since they were established, since World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They’re in businesses, in drug businesses, and they take out dictators. We need to take out the CIA." - Ron Paul in 2010.

"Who or what assassinated President John F. Kennedy?

In the course of experimenting in the dark truth of JFK's death, the ongoing, deepening historical hypothesis of this book has been that the CIA coordinated and carried out the president's murder. That hypothesis has been strengthened as the documents, witnesses, and converging lines of inquiry have pointed more conclusively at the CIA. Yet understanding that the CIA coordinated the assassination does not mean that we can limit the responsibility to the CIA. To tell the truth at the heart of darkness in this story, one must see and accept a responsibility that goes deeper and far beyond the Central Intelligence Agency.

The CIA was the coordinating instrument that killed the president, but the question of responsibility is more systemic, more personal, and more chilling. Thomas Merton described it rightly as the unspeakable. Let us continue to follow the story as far as we can, in the hope that the unspeakable, if not spoken, can at least be glimpsed in the shadows." - James W. Douglass, "JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters." Simon & Schuster: 2008. Pg. 305 - 306.
It is common knowledge that the CIA has been installing friendly presidents, senators, and governors in the United States for decades. When the maverick Jesse Ventura became Governor of Minnesota, he said he was visited by CIA officers who were interested in how he won without support from the two major parties. Gov. Ventura said they wanted to grab information from him in order to learn from his experience and stop other independent political candidates from repeating his victory.

Indeed, the CIA takes a great interest in U.S. elections, and directs their outcome to protect their own corrupt interests. Most well-known politicians on Capitol Hill are probably on the payroll of the CIA. It is the biggest foreign lobby in Washington, with AIPAC close behind.

Why is the CIA a foreign lobby? Because the CIA is controlled by a secret group of international banking families who gained control of America after they established the private Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 based on illegitimate grounds. These foreign, international rulers dedicated themselves to overthrowing America's system of government in the early twentieth century.

The creation of the Central Intelligence Agency after WWII was part of their long plot to destroy America's constitutional republic and free institutions. The CIA is the perfect vehicle for overthrowing a government, especially in one's own country.

It is not a coincidence that the international owners of the Federal Reserve and the CIA share the same goal as Al-Qaeda: Bankrupt the United States of America. They need America to collapse financially and politically before their New World Order/One World Government can rise out of the ashes.

They only care about the birth of their big baby to be named the new world order, not the millions of victims in America and around the world who are being sacrificed during the birthing process. One more planned world war between Islamic civilization and Western civilization, and their big dream will become a global political reality.

Obama is on board with this global conspiracy. He would have not been made President if he wasn't. Many people think of President Barack Obama as the human version of a CIA drone. He flies at 40000 feet above the brainwashed commoners, firing missiles of deception into American homes and American minds.

On Super Bowl Sunday, Obama dropped deception bombs equivalent to nuclear warheads on the public consciousness, the biggest one being about the nature of Iran's nuclear program. Obama was asked about Israel's plan to attack Iran. He responded:
"I think they, like us, believe that Iran has to stand down on its nuclear weapons program," he said. "[Iran is] feeling the pressure, but they have not taken the step that they need to diplomatically, which is to say, 'We will pursue peaceful nuclear power. We will not pursue a nuclear weapon.' Until they do, I think Israel rightly is going to be very concerned and we are as well." (Source: The Huffington Post).
Everyone knows that Iran's nuclear program is not dedicated to building nuclear weapons. For analysis, read: U.S. Intelligence Agencies Agree: No Evidence of Iranian Nuclear Weapons Program. Is President Obama reading his intelligence briefings, or not? Is the problem too many rounds of golf, and not enough reading? Let's say he is doing his homework. That means he is too big of a coward to break with Israel publicly and say that Iran's nuclear program is peaceful and restricted for civilian purposes.

Or is he being blackmailed by the Zionists and Neocons into attacking Iran?

These doubts and questions around Obama are damaging the reputation, security, and freedoms of the United States. The only man in the 2012 presidential race who can restore America's reputation, security, and freedoms is Ron Paul. But he is up against widespread, systemic election fraud.

The CIA, FED, GOP, and MSM are teaming up to take Ron Paul out of the presidential picture. So far, they have been successful. In state after state, the GOP, CIA, and MSM are working tirelessly to hide the reality on the ground and prop up puppets like Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, and Newt Gingrich who have no popular support.

Ron Paul does not want to be part of the puppet show. His heart is too big for that. His soul is not for sell. He has integrity and bravery. A man like him is too good for the state managed staged production that is the American presidential election. Posted by Saman Mohammadi at 7:16 PM

In the 2008 caucus we didn't use ballots in Nevada. We wrote the name of our choice on a slip of paper and put it in the ballot box. I registered as independent after the Nevada convention in 2008 so I didn't get to vote in the caucus this time. I will ask my brother if Nevada printed ballots. I don't think they did. Prior to 2008 Nevada was a primary election state. I am not in favor of electronic voting.

Honest voting is a very simple matter, just handle it precinct by precinct with complete out in the open balloting.
