Oklahoma high school valedictorian denied diploma for using 'hell' in speech

This is part of the US Public school system's conditioning of kids to bow down to authority. Sheeple training. I applaud this girl, and her dad. The country is overwhelmingly behind her and has their middle finger out to the 'reasonable' principal and school superintendent. I like her attitude.

    To hell with the principal.
I'd like to think that all of this constant interaction is just the kind of make you drive yourself away
Each simple gesture done by me is counteracted and leaves me standing here with nothing else to say

Completely baffled by a backward indication that an inspired word will come across your tongue
Hands moving upward to propel the situation have simply halted and now the conversation's done

Do you see a pattern with these types of stories? Some ridiculously indefensible action takes place, 99.9% of the population see how ridiculous it is, the media whips them into a frenzy, the victim gets publicity beyond imagination, followed by some time of financial support in the form of public donations or commercial sponsorship, the original offender sheepishly rescinds the action, and then we move on to the next event. In this particular case, look for some type of college scholarship fund to be set up in her name, for which she will receive donations far in excess of any grief she had to endure. Remember the old woman who was insulted on the school bus? She got $750,000 in donations.

How weird is it that we do this as a society? Is this some type of controlled revolt? Let the masses get enraged over some meaningless incident that only impacts one citizen, let their voice be so strong that the action gets overturned, and then everyone walks away thinking that they enabled meaningful change. All while Rome burns.

I maybe could understand this if it happened 20-30+ years ago. But now in these times? I still try and not cuss around women/kids because that was the way I was brought up, but in these times and morals (lack of) that the school does this is a joke.

Hell is a Bible word, a King James Bible word. I haven't checked every one of the hundreds of perversions since 1880 but for the most part, the word HELL is REMOVED and replaced with something a little tamer. My guess is that saying the word HELL (which is NOT a cuss word) gets those going there a little nervous including the principle of this school.

People use the word in the mannor she did because deep down inside they know that's where they're going.

This young lady is not apologizing. She's standing her ground. And the 'authorities' look like fools. Which they are. Their Karma will eat them. Accounts will be settled. The young lady will go on to great things and a good life. I whish her well, and I hope the principal and the school superintendant wind up in hell where they belong.
