Sandy Hook chorus to sing "America the Beautiful" (@Superbowl)

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The chorus from Sandy Hook Elementary School will sing "America the Beautiful" before Sunday's Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The chorus features 26 children from Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., where 20 first-graders and six adults were killed in a Dec. 14 shooting rampage.

The performance will be part of CBS's pre-game show, and will be broadcast live. Alicia Keys will sing the national anthem.

I think a moment of silence to honor the dead would have been sufficient...but since they're going to put on a show for the biggest televised event of the year, they should do it in Super Bowl spectacular style.
Maybe have the kids dancing around in little casket costumes, arms flailing, singing ban assault rifles and high capacity "clips".

These bastards are absolutely shameless. They will exploit any tragedy to further their agenda. Frankly, I don't think they will sway anyone with this. Everyone has already chosen sides on the gun grab issue IMHO.

That was a question I had about the school. When I first saw it, I thought it was an unmaintained school. So it was possibly a disused school.
