Well use your head a little bit. It's like saying they smelled smoke, so they immediately knew where the fire was started.
Their approach was hardly scientific or conclusive. It's interesting, but there's a guy out in BC that routinely measures higher than normal levels of radiation after it rains, and found out it was due to an open pit mining operation over 50 miles away.
