The more skeptical perspective says, they're a spook-op, a honeypot, like what GIM1 later revealed themselves as... and "donating" when they shake the cup is just putting yourself on "the devoted dissident-activist list"... not to mention also being akin to "donating extra to the IRS to help pay down the national debt"... LOL

Maybe it's just cover for my core cheap-azzness, but I always take this latter perspective, just in case...
