U.K. Conservative MP ‘killed boy at sex party,’ victim of pedophile network claims

A Conservative MP murdered a young boy during a depraved sex party in the 1980s, an alleged victim of the Westminster pedophile scandal has claimed.

The 12-year-old boy, who was being abused by a group of men, was strangled by the politician at a townhouse in front of other victims, it was alleged.

On another occasion, a young boy, who was around 10 years old, was deliberately run down and killed by a car driven by one of his abusers, the “victim” claimed.

The alleged murders were among three that are being investigated by the Metropolitan Police as part of a major review of claims that a powerful pedophile ring with links to Westminster was operating in Britain in the 1970s and 1980s.

Scotland Yard, which set up Operation Fairbank two years ago to look at the abuse claims, announced on Friday that it had launched a fresh strand of the inquiry, entitled Operation Midland, to investigate the alleged murders.

The allegations emerged after a man, who is now in his 40s, came forward claiming to have been one of around 15 boys who were abused at the hands of a powerful pedophile network operating 30 years ago.

He claims that after being handed to the group by his father, he was regularly picked up in cars and taken to hotels and apartments, where he was physically and sexually abused by “senior military and political” figures.

Some of the abuse allegedly took place at flats in the Dolphin Square development in Pimlico, where a number of politicians have London homes. The man, who has spoken at length to Scotland Yard detectives, said he had witnessed two murders of abuse victims by members of the group.

He told the Sunday People that he had been in the same room as a 12-year-old boy, when a Tory MP throttled him to death. He described the boy as having brown hair, but said he did not know his name.

The murder was allegedly witnessed by another abuse victim who was in the room at the same time.

He said: “I watched while that happened. I am not sure how I got out of that. Whether I will ever know why I survived, I am not sure.”

‘A child abuse survivor has criticised the Government’s decision to lock the personal witness statements victims gave to state investigations away for 75 years as “very extreme” and “odd”.

Andrew Madden made the remarks after the Cabinet confirmed it is to withhold the evidence for privacy and legal advice reasons.

The decision not to make the files publicly available is based on recommendations in the Ryan report. It was put forward yesterday by Jan O’ Sullivan, the education minister, and will see the files withheld for almost twice as long as State papers are normally kept.’......................

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt is to issue a humiliating apology after The Mail on Sunday exposed him for misleading the House of Commons over who will foot the huge compensation bill for victims of Jimmy Savile.

In a statement to the House last week, Mr Hunt pledged that Savile’s charities are responsible for paying up to £40 million due. But this newspaper can reveal that the charities are exempt – and that it is the NHS which is liable.

Although the report focused only on the ordeals of six children, these were taken to be representative of nearly 370 others who, between 2004 and 2012, had been subjected to rape and abuse by Asian men. South Yorkshire Police accused of covering up widespread sexual abuse in Sheffield on a scale ‘bigger than Rotherham’

‘South Yorkshire Police has been accused of ignoring hundreds of reports of sexual abuse against young girls in a widespread cover-up deemed ‘bigger than Rotherham’.

Tony Brookes, a former police constable with 30 years’ service, claims the force knew that girls as young as 12-years-old were being raped and assaulted but chose to ignore it.

It is understood that more than 200 girls were reported to the force as being potential victims of sexual exploitation in Sheffield, mainly between 2007 and 2010.

Mr Brookes, who has now left the force, said he believes the ‘size of the exploitation was massive in Sheffield’, adding: ‘I think bigger than in Rotherham’.’

South Yorkshire Police came under fire during the inquiry into the Rotherham sex abuse scandal, during which it emerged that 1,400 children were abused in the town over a 16-year period.

The force's former Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright resigned in the wake of Professor Alexis Jay's report into the widespread abuse, which found that authorities had failed to act after hundreds of young girls were forced into prostitution and trafficking.

Now, Mr Brookes and fellow former South Yorkshire Police officers have claimed a similar large-scale sex abuse scandal has been ongoing in Sheffield.

Tonight, Rotherham MP Sarah Champion said on Twitter: 'Very very disappointed to hear that South Yorkshire Police let down the children of Sheffield too, but sadly not surprised.'

Rochdale sexual abuse victims to sue police after officers escape disciplinary action




Two victims of child sexual abuse in Rochdale are to sue Greater Manchester Police (GMP) after it admitted it failed to properly investigate the series of crimes in the town.

A lawyer representing the victims told Sky News this morning that proceedings had been initiated against the service.

GMP announced this morning that no police officers would be charged or disciplined over failures in investigating child sexual abuse in Rochdale,

The police service has apologised after admitting failings “at individual and force level” when it dealt with abuse victims in the town between 2008 and 2010.

Out of 13 officers initially flagged by the force, misconduct notices were issued to only seven.

Of those, only one officer was found to merit disciplinary action. He was allowed to retire without sanction, while the other six were given “words of advice” by senior officers.

The force carried out its own review into its actions with supervision from the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

The report found that GMP put too much emphasis on the credibility of the victims of the abuse and did not focus on the seriousness of the crimes being alleged..................

Survivors of Elm Guest House and child protection workers have described orgies, rape and obscene video production. Elm Guest House placed advertisements in specialist gay publications in the early 1980s, including a newsletter for the Conservative Group for Homosexual Equality, which boasted: “The facilities include a sauna, solarium and video studio.”

The families of two boys who disappeared fear their deaths were linked to the hotel, which was shut down after a police raid in 1982.

Two years ago, police officers seized from a former official at the now-defunct National Association of Young People in Care a list that purported to name some of the regular visitors. That list, which is in circulation on the Internet but cannot be verified or even dated, contains the names of pop stars, politicians, and members of the royal household.

Cyril Smith was another of the men on the list. One of the teenage boys who worked as a masseur at the Elm Guest House, Lee Towsey, claimed Smith forced him to strip naked and watch him masturbate. Towsey, who was 16 at the time, told the Daily Mail that the hotel manager, Carole Kasir, had boasted to him about the caliber of guests. “She kept their names in a black address book, which she referred to as her insurance policy,” he said.

A much younger boy, under 11 years old, reportedly told police officers in the 1980s that he was regularly abused at the guest house. According to a social worker who said he was present for an interview at Richmond police station, the boy reportedly said one of his abusers was a man known as “Uncle Leon” who worked at “the big house.”.............

‘People in Britain do not yet “appreciate the true scale” of child sexual exploitation that runs through society “like a stick of Blackpool rock”, Home Secretary Theresa May has warned.

Writing in The Daily Telegraph, the Home Secretary said that following a major inquiry into child abuse, currently led by Justice Lowell Goddard, “we will never look at society in the same way again.”

She warns that the trail will lead into schools, hospitals, churches and youth clubs as well as “many other institutions that should have been places of safety but instead became the setting for the most appalling abuse”. She described revelations up to this point as “just the tip of the iceberg”.’

May set up the inquiry into child abuse following revelations about crimes committed by the deceased DJ Jimmy Savile as well disclosures regarding abuse in Derby, Oxford and other alleged paedophile rings across the country.

There have further been a number of allegations about a Westminster paedophile ring.

She wrote: "The inquiry won’t probe individuals but where there is evidence a person has abused their position – no matter how high or low that position – it will be passed to the police to investigate.

"If there has been a cover-up, we will uncover it. And if perpetrators of child sex abuse are found, they will be brought to justice.”...........
