    A person is a type of corporation - a franchise. Franchises are registered in D.C. registries.

    A person is a not a people.

    A right is not granted. A privilege is granted.

    A right is claimed. ergo.

    A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
    There is no grant here. There is a claim of Right and a confirmation of that Right. Rights are claimed by action or word.
