    Out of the Garden - Into the Pot

    It does not get any fresher than that.

    From my garden:

    This is how I cook my turnips.

    Use about 3 cups of cubed turnips.
    Peel and cube.


    Cut up an apple

    Add 1/4 cup of sugar

    Simmer over medium heat for 45 mins


    add 3/4 stick of butter, stir and continue simmering for another 15 minutes.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Wow dude, looks pretty good. How long did it take to harvest? Seeing as how we had a long winter and all.
