I've been following the work of Myron Evans for a number of years, and I personally think he's got it figured out.
Very few have heard of him because almost no one understands the math, not because the theory is complicated, but that its just advanced math that only math graduates would know.
Basically all he did was extend general relativity to include torsion of space, in addition to curvature. The torsion represents electromagnetism.
Using equations derived from this, they can accurately predict the movement of galaxies without the need for dark matter or dark energy.
