Summary of Terrorism Threat to the U.S. Homeland

The Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a new National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin regarding the current heightened threat environment across the United States. The Homeland continues to face a diverse and challenging threat environment leading up to and following the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks as well religious holidays we assess could serve as a catalyst for acts of targeted violence. These threats include those posed by domestic terrorists, individuals and groups engaged in grievance-based violence, and those inspired or motivated by foreign terrorists and other malign foreign influences. These actors are increasingly exploiting online forums to influence and spread violent extremist narratives and promote violent activity. Such threats are also exacerbated by impacts of the ongoing global pandemic, including grievances over public health safety measures and perceived government restrictions.

Additional Details

Through the remainder of 2021, racially- or ethnically-motivated violent extremists (RMVEs) and anti-government/anti-authority violent extremists will remain a national threat priority for the United States. These extremists may seek to exploit the emergence of COVID-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks. Pandemic-related stressors have contributed to increased societal strains and tensions, driving several plots by domestic violent extremists, and they may contribute to more violence this year.

Additionally, leading up to the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula recently released its first English-language copy of Inspire magazine in over four years, which demonstrates that foreign terrorist organizations continue efforts to inspire U.S.-based individuals susceptible to violent extremist influences.

Historically, mass-casualty domestic violent extremist attacks linked to RMVEs have targeted houses of worship and crowded commercial facilities or gatherings. Some RMVEs advocate via online platforms for a race war and have stated that civil disorder provides opportunities to engage in violence in furtherance of ideological objectives. The reopening of institutions, including schools, as well as several dates of religious significance over the next few months, could also provide increased targets of opportunity for violence though there are currently no credible or imminent threats identified to these locations.

Foreign and domestic threat actors, to include foreign intelligence services, international terrorist groups and domestic violent extremists, continue to introduce, amplify, and disseminate narratives online that promote violence, and have called for violence against elected officials, political representatives, government facilities, law enforcement, religious communities or commercial facilities, and perceived ideologically-opposed individuals. There are also continued, non-specific calls for violence on multiple online platforms associated with DVE ideologies or conspiracy theories on perceived election fraud and alleged reinstatement, and responses to anticipated restrictions relating to the increasing COVID cases.

Ideologically motivated violent extremists fueled by personal grievances and extremist ideological beliefs continue to derive inspiration and obtain operational guidance through the consumption of information shared in certain online communities. This includes information regarding the use of improvised explosive devices and small arms.

Violent extremists may use particular messaging platforms or techniques to obscure operational indicators that provide specific warning of a pending act of violence.

Law enforcement have expressed concerns that the broader sharing of false narratives and conspiracy theories will gain traction in mainstream environments, resulting in individuals or small groups embracing violent tactics to achieve their desired objectives. With a diverse array of threats, DHS is concerned that increased outbreaks of violence in some locations, as well as targeted attacks against law enforcement, may strain local resources.

Nation-state adversaries have increased efforts to sow discord. For example, Russian, Chinese and Iranian government-linked media outlets have repeatedly amplified conspiracy theories concerning the origins of COVID-19 and effectiveness of vaccines; in some cases, amplifying calls for violence targeting persons of Asian descent.

Am particularly interested in Dr. McCullough's perspective on the "vaccine" and "the virus" not only because of his Texas perspective but also because he is being sued for probably THE most important legal aspect of this current forcing of employees and students to take "the vaccine."

The "vaccine" is not only a pharmaceutical experimental trial study. It is also a treatment, a gene therapy.
The participants in the drug trial, that is the people who choose to get the jab, are bearing all the risk for this unknown substance that will probably change their own personal immune system protections for the rest of their lives. If they experience injury from the experimental treatment, the drug company is exempt from liability for paying the cost of your care needed to treat and live with your injury.

People do not understand the crap shoot decision they make to take the jab and people do not seem to be the least bit interested in learning about the risk and "benefits" of the jab before they take the injection. That is the twilight zone situation that is splitting personal family and friend relationships. Each side of this split is made up of people who do not at all understand the thinking and reasoning of the people of the other side.

(Christians need to just give the problem up to Christ in prayer. If there is vexation and suffering in relationship, offer it up as a small sacrifice to the One Who is Truth. Prayer and caritas in all things. )

I find it so astounding and absurd and EVIL that the drug companies and the medical and scientific establishment, as well as legal judicial system, are promoting the wholesale jabbing of people without looking at all at the individual's medical history. If you have a history of auto-immune conditions, you have no business taking a "vaccine" that will permanently change and destroy whatever is left of your immune defense system. LANSING, Mich.—About 800 protesters gathered on the grounds outside the Michigan State Capitol on the afternoon of Aug. 6 to rally against government mandates for vaccinations and masks.

In a call for residents to push back against the government’s increasingly intrusive health policies and to protect Americans’ rights during the pandemic, Tammy Clark, executive director of the conservative group Stand Up Michigan, encouraged the crowd to let their voices be heard through nonviolent civil disobedience.

“If we don’t stop this now, we won’t get another chance,” Clark said. “Let’s show the government that the employees of this country will not tolerate this tyranny. We have inalienable rights, and we are not going to give them up. We must refuse to comply with the vaccine mandates and forced mask-wearing at all costs. If you lose your job, go out and get another job!”

Among the many health care workers in the crowd were two cousins, Beatrice and Christina, both nurses who potentially face losing their jobs if they don’t get the vaccine.

“Being forced to take the shot or lose your job is like me telling a patient, ‘Take your pills or I won’t feed you, bathe you, or care for you.’ Both instances violate the nurse’s code of ethics,” Beatrice, from Troy, Michigan, told The Epoch Times.

“Christina and I grew up in communist Romania, where doctors put things in your arm against your will. We know what this is. We lived under it. It’s communism.”

ICU nurse Christina added: “Imagine being banned from shopping for groceries at a store. Americans haven’t lived through that kind of tyranny yet. Many of our fellow health care workers feel as we do but are afraid to speak up.”

Pastor Jason Georges, who spoke at the rally, used his remarks to outline what he called the “immorality” of the government’s vaccination messaging.

“The Biden administration has been denying they are forcing you to get vaccinated, but they have publicly stated that they intend to make your life so uncomfortable that you will have to take the vaccine,” he said.

“First they take our rights. Then they redefine our God-given inalienable rights as privileges. Then they attempt to bribe us into compliance with promises of restoring some of those ‘privileges.’”

Medical doctor David Vella warned the crowd against what he called a “new age of medical fascism.” He labeled mandated vaccinations as “a coerced gene treatment” that violates the Hippocratic Oath, the U.S. Constitution, and every international human rights declaration, including the Nuremberg Code.

Vella said the American people are suffering from “a mass neurosis” of fear.

“Renounce fear. Shake off anxiety. Follow the science. Stand up and fight for medical freedom,” Vella said. “There is no other America out there coming to save us. We must save ourselves. If we do not use the power we have, we will lose it.”

The vaccination mandate extends to health system employees even if they’re working remotely, one inpatient medical coder who wished to remain anonymous told The Epoch Times.

“I am being forced to be vaccinated or lose my job. My last hope is a religious exemption.”

With the onset of the new school year, many of Michigan’s universities have announced that on-campus residents will have to be vaccinated, with some schools such as Michigan State University also requiring the wearing of masks in college buildings.

Many major health care providers throughout the state, including Henry Ford Health Systems, Beaumont Health Systems, Spectrum Health, and the VA Medical Center of Battle Creek, have already instituted or announced plans for vaccination mandates.

Thus far, a number of Michigan’s big private-sector employers, such as major automakers, have only introduced mask mandates.

According to the state of Michigan, CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus infections are currently averaging about 1,300 per day.

Since the virus arrived in Michigan in spring 2020, more than 900,000 residents have been infected and recovered. To date, about 20,000 in the state have died of the CCP virus or related causes—many in nursing homes.

Michigan’s Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, has repeatedly gone on record, even as recently as last week, saying that her administration isn’t considering introducing vaccine passports for residents or vaccination mandates for state employees.

In legislative efforts to protect against government overreach on individual liberties, several Republican-sponsored bills have been winding their way through the Republican-controlled state legislature to prohibit any state entity from funding, creating, producing, or distributing a vaccine passport and forbidding any governmental entity from fining someone for not being vaccinated.
