“The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, and our best defense against the virus, but should remain voluntary and never forced,” wrote Abbott in a press release. Fox News explains that the order prevents “any entity” in Texas from requiring someone to receive a COVID-19 vaccine “who objects to such a vaccination for any reason of personal conscience.” It applies to “both employees and consumers” who do not want the vaccine because of “religious beliefs, or for medical reasons, including prior recovery from COVID-19.”

This is a perfect example of

doing the wrong thing

for the wrong reason

at the wrong time.

Thankfully any enforcement of this Executive Order will be sporadic and limited within political game board.

The employers, public and private, will keep on acting on the orders of their controllers and their orders come from a level much higher than any state governor's Executive Order.
Remember if your employer wants to push you out, they can do that in a million "legal" ways, and we have plenty high-profile cases of that.

Great video by Vincent James.

The most important thing he pointed out is that even in Red states with Red governors, the local school boards and county governments within the Red states can do as they please and you always have Blue strongholds in every state, like especially in Texas.

He pointed out a Washington Post article where Texas-based airlines, Southwest and American, are not going along with Governor Abbott's Executive Order.

Not sure Vincent has it right about legality of Southwest pilots and staff walking out. It is my understanding that while the pilots and employees may belong to one specific union, not all do. Some belong to other groups. One of the pilots went on national Fox news a few days ago and he named his group and it was not a union that I have heard of. Anyway it is my understanding that the pilots are using up their sick leave time (hence the term "sick-0ut") now to make their point and they are determined to give up their employment if they have to but they are not going to be "mandated" to do something that they consider to be against their Creator-endowed rights (my words). It is my understanding that some of the pilots and staff that have joined the "sick out" have in the past received the vaccine so they are along with this action for basic freedoms or patriotism to America. So using up sick leave keeps this action legal, regardless of whether unions or other kinds of groups may be involved.

Another issue I have is that Vincent and Juridical Watch and so many other conservatives involved in all of this seem to think filing lawsuits pursuing cases up through the courts, possibly up the U S Supreme Court is the highest and best most potent action and that action proves they are really fighting and proves their sincerity and patriotic intentions. I think the judges, including the Supremes, and courts and Attorneys General and local government prosecutors have sold their souls to the other side.

Dachsie is more of the "Dismantle and Rebuild" mindset, with a generous dose of prayer.
