A [52 year-old] prominent cardiologist who delighted in jabbing vaccine skeptics on social media suddenly died in his sleep only two weeks after apparently endorsing the third Covid shot, a major loss to the patients he was treating as well as the local medical community.
Dr. Sohrab Lutchmedial, who served as director of the interventional cardiology program at Canada’s New Brunswick Heart Centre and who has been described as an “inspiring spirit,” passed away on November 8th...
On October 24, Lutchmedial took to Facebook to post what appeared to many to be an acknowledgment that he had received the booster, writing “Vax Shot 3: Electric Flu-Galoo,” giving the jab “two thumbs up” in a missive that has drawn attention on social media...
Back in July, in a what appears to be a since-deleted Tweet that has definitely not aged well, Lutchmedial railed against those who “won’t get the shot for selfish reasons,” adding that “I won’t cry at their funeral,” ...
The doctor also frequently weighed in on those who desire to make their own personal medical decisions in regard to getting vaccinated and had tweeted out snarky remarks, including one in August where he remarked on U.S. vaccine hesitance: “We need to start calling them ‘Antibody Guns’ and Americans will start getting lining up for vaccines.”
Last month, Lutchmedial expressed the sentiment that he would like to strike out violently at those who sought to caution others about the vaccine.
"I think all of us would treat that unvaxxed patient with respect amd to the best of our abilities. But the people that convinced them not to get vaxxed? I want to punch those people in the face."...
Lutchmedial was a champion of the vaccines right up until the end, recently posting a message to Facebook urging parents to “amplify” a message that the vaccines were safe for kids
