Judicial Watch: NIH Records Reveal FBI Inquiry of Wuhan Grant
Judicial Watch announced recently that it received 1651 pages of records from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) revealing an FBI “inquiry” into the NIH’s controversial bat coronavirus grant tied to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The records also show National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) officials were concerned about “gain-of-function” research in China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2016. The Fauci agency was also concerned about EcoHealth Alliance’s lack of compliance with reporting rules and use of gain-of-function research in the NIH-funded research involving bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, China.

Judicial Watch Files Lawsuit for OpentheBooks.com for Employment/Financial Records of NIH ‘Bioethics’ Official Christine Grady, Spouse of Anthony Fauci
Judicial Watch announced today it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit on behalf of American Transparency (OpenTheBooks.com) against the Department of Health and Human Services for employment and financial disclosure records for the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) chief of the Clinical Center’s Department of Bioethics Christine Grady. Grady is the spouse of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

New DOL Policy Shields “Vulnerable Workers who Lack Work Authorization” from Deportation
Days after an influential open borders group ordered the government to “promptly develop and implement” a policy to protect illegal immigrants involved in labor disputes from deportation, the Biden administration has obliged. This month the Department of Labor (DOL) issued a new measure, drafted in English and Spanish, offering immigration related prosecutorial discretion for undocumented workers involved in labor disputes with their U.S. employers. Created at the request of the Los Angeles-based Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law, the policy directs illegal alien workers to contact the agency if they fear supervisors will try to get authorities to deport them for reporting workplace abuse.

Judicial Watch Sues after New York City Fails to Clean Voter Rolls for Years
Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a federal lawsuit against New York State and New York City election officials failing to remove potentially hundreds of thousands of ineligible voters from New York City voter registration rolls as federal law requires. The lawsuit, filed under the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), details how New York City removed only 22 names under the federal law over six years.
