Did I miss the obligatory GSUS thread on this latest dubious "event"?

Mixed feelings on this joowey looking/behaving vlogger, but he appears to have done a reasonable job with this. It's my first exposure to the "event." Was it staged to try to throw cold water on the Kavanaugh confirmation party? Plus some more "we need driverless vehicles" propaganda?

ALL 18 Ford Excursion limo occupants died?! Plus 2 pedestrians? Implausible... esp the ALL 18 bit, given the supposed story & images of the crashed limo.

These vehicles are drive by wire. Limo could have been crashed by remote operator.

I heard that it was a modified SUV.

It was going down a steep 1 mile or 1/2 mile grade with truck warning signs.

The vehicle's braking system was never rated for that kind of weight. Presumably it failed and the driver simply kept it on the road until it had a major wipeout at the bottom.

Obviously it could have been anything, but the explanation makes sense to me. How 18 people could have died, I don't know. Unless the doors were blocked and there was a fire, it seems hard for every single person to die.

^ again the OP vid was my first/only exposure to this latest "event" but vid showed images of the modified Ford Expedition limo crash; no apparent fire, most of vehicle in tact with a few in tact windows even.

Did JSM go wall to wall on it? I only first heard today, from some tweets noting limo company's FBI-informant owner; didn't open/read the story; then tonight watched the OP vid.

Excursions are not drive by wire except for the throttle position sensor. The brakes, steering, and ignition switch are not ECM controlled.
