The drought and grass hoppers are bad where I am too. I've got some lilac bushes outside one of my windows and first thing they did was eat the leaves off then they ate the bark off down to bare wood. There's a lot of them and they're eating everything.

I didn't know grasshoppers would or could do that to bark. That is severe. Around here we have had an outbreak of gypsy moth caterpillars. They have stripped many oak trees bare and even eaten the needles on the pines in places. The oaks are starting to grow new leaves as the caterpillars are now in the moth stage but it ain't good.

These communist globalists really are going to wreck the food supply and we need to thwart their plans. It was a small local meat processing plant that sponsored Margaret Byfields recent "30x30" presentation. I spoke with the owner of that plant and we were in agreement that we need to get rid of regulations that stop state inspected meat from crossing state lines. Smaller more local packers need to be able to supply and compete for the needs of the grocery stores and compete with these globalist, commie sons of bithches like the owners of JBS.

Edit: Senator Hawley didn’t propose any new legislation such as Tumbleweed suggested to let small local meat packers sell across state lines. I think his speech overall was lacking in what needs to be done.
