Panic anyone?

A good ole fashioned, blood-in-the-streets, sell-off. The pump monkeys and HFT machines seem to be locked up while investigators are looking in their direction. Or, could it be that there is a desire for stocks to drop heavy? After all, they make money going down as well as going up.... just as long as it is moving.

Ha, that is funny, silver is still under $40 and Ponce still is losing on the $50 bet. Really, One would think silver would of broke $50 with going being $1718.
Too much industrial use is keeping it down. If I had to buy a PM today it would definately be silver.

I am watching in amazement as my PRUdential put options are giving good returns.

I almost cashed out for profits a few times earlier, but PRU keeps going down. I was hoping it would stay down under 52. Now it is under 49. That may not sound like much, but for options in the money, each $1 drop = $100 profit.

I have 7 options.... that were worth $1500 45 days ago. Now they are over $8,000.... now $9,000. This is a good start in winning back the losses I took.

update- just broke 48.... options worth more than $9,700. This is sinking faster than my silver at the boating accident.

There is an erie feeling, as if people are waking up to the fake money system. While driving today, I heard Rush Limbaugh talking about how all the FRN money is fake. People are learning that the fake money is not production and it is not wealth. With all the fake shows being played, we still have losses of businesses, manufacturing, jobs, liberty... real wealth.

I think this could prompt a fair number of people to close out their retirement funds and pull them from stocks & bonds. Hmmm.... the markets are doomed.

The political scounrels got their raised debt ceiling and still the stock market drops. DJI now at 11,949 and it looks like the mood is downward. Maybe they just sent the pump monkeys on vacation, or maybe the pump monkeys went on strike for more pay. Here's one of them....
http://dailybail.com/storage/BankingCEOTestifyBeforeHouseUseTARPFSnYaPqxm-ul.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1245315729849

I usually don't listen to Rush but today on the way home from golf I tuned in to hear some market news. Rush was banging on the Fed hard. I figure if the MSM is hounding the Fed it is because there is a plan to bring it down along with the dollar and to institute a newer better way to keep the elites safe and wealthy.

I don't know about you guys but I'm loving all these green shoots. Thank God the Fed stepped in and pumped trillions into the market and bailed out every bank and GSE. Now they are all begging for more money, but don't worry the Fed will take care of them.

Seriously though, when do people get mad? I mean you have the wall street government lying straight to the American public all the time. I am so far removed from "normal society" that I'm not sure what the sheeple really feel about this stuff. I mean if I were them I would say "damn every single cable news channel said things were getting better, Obama promised changed, promised to create jobs, the government promised......."

I felt this way in 08, that maybe the shit was hitting the fan. Maybe it is, maybe it's not yet, I know I shouldn't feel so flippant about it, but in many respects I'm ready to just get the show on the road.

The real people are waiting for the results of the fed meeting - some time after 2. Watch for wild move between 2:30 and 4.

Update 1:35pm: The market feels to me like it is sitting on the edge of a cliff. It wants to go down.... and heavy... after this dead cat bounce. I wonder if the fed can say anything good, except we will drop money from helicopters today.

Silver cannot lose its characteristics, but silver bugs, as in 2008, could lose their lustre.

I think we go down today. My guess is based on: continued poor fundamentals, flip-flop of volatility up & down cycles, we reached a resistance level.

Counter to this- the PPT may again mess with the market by injecting more money.

I am not sure how to read this. I am bouncing between a couple possibilities.

1. The market is just ready to pop and the ability of the PPT to keep it pumped is reaching its end..... or...
2. This is part of the plan. The drops are caused by downgrades in major ratings (by banksters like JP Morgue & Morgan Stanley) and the release of some modifications in economy numbers.

I am favoring #2 as the liars do not need to tell the truth about anything, unless it is just so far be-fuggled that there is no more hiding it. I am being cautious that the manipulations are still going on but in a different direction. This may be the crisis that allows them to extend further debt and usher in quickly (crisis mode = no deliberate thought for consequences) QE3 and more.

the stock market has been asking this question lately, "am i going up or down ?"

the answer is obvious - it's going \/ DOWN.

i think it's time for that next big leg down. as in tomorrow. not down-up-down-up.

more like, Down Down Down Down Down, sideways, up a little, Down, Down, Down.

that 500 points down, 400 points up type of volatility indicates an unstable equilibrium.

Labor Day Market Bloodbath Gold Tops $1,900
By Gerald Celente
9-5-11 KINGSTON, NY -- As Americans celebrate Labor Day (the worker's holiday for workers lucky enough to have jobs), the financial news from across the pond is anything but celebratory. Today, the equity market meltdown * that saw US stocks logging their worst August in 10 years * hit Europe even harder and sank major Asian indices to yearly lows. Today's sell-off, which began with the Asian markets falling some 2.5 percent followed by a 5 percent drop in European markets, is setting off frantic alarm signals. Just two of the 45 markets tracked by Standard & Poor's Indices rose during August, and September has begun on an ominous note. The summer collapse I predicted is underway, and there is much worse to come. (<http://enews.trendsresearch.com/q/TAVobUFg1nE7KUEPeroxyf
vJZmRzf8r5Rxo0Mbl0wmQ2xVFGXLACaVi6O>See Trend Alert®, 13 June 2011, "COLLAPSE: IT'S COMING! ARE YOU READY?") Trend-conscious Trends Journal subscribers around the globe take note: The world markets are in meltdown, and nothing, but NOTHING, that "policy makers" make up will reverse it. American subscribers, who may well be tuned out of the news and in a holiday mode today, could find * if Europe is a harbinger of what to expect tomorrow * the day after tomorrow bringing panic to the Street. Do you know where your money is? And if you want it, will you be able to get it? European, American, Chinese it doesn't matter. The banks are taking a battering. Just today, The Royal Bank of Scotland fell 12.3 percent, Deutsche Bank 8.9 percent, and Société Générale 8.6 percent. In the last six months, major US and European banks have lost about half of their value. Fears are mounting that some European banks would not be able to meet their debt obligations if they were forced to recognize the existing losses in their balance sheets. Despite years of promises to remedy the sovereign debt problems by the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund, it is becoming obvious they will not be able to do so. Is that why, as ECB data reveals, European banks have been withdrawing their cash from the European banking system and transferring it to the US as indicated in data released by the US Federal Reserve on Friday? Take action as appropriate. With gold closing today above $1,900 an ounce, my forecast for "Gold $2,000," once roundly ridiculed, is now, for all intents and purposes, realized. ©MMXI <http://enews.trendsresearch.com/q/iymg6ELs1

Psych or what??

I know, but I am kind of in a position where I need one before November.
I could use my home defense shotty, but it's smooth bore and the scope I put on it won't maintain accuracy at 50 yards. (It's a real junky scope)

Funny how things work out...

I have a 3-9 X 50 scope that I bought because it was on sale a couple years ago. I was planning on mounting it on a rifle some day, but hadn't gotten around to it.

So I mounted it on a friends rifled shotgun last night, and asked if I could take it hunting for a week. He said no problem.

I told him we will leave my scope on there until I get the right gun that I want to mount it on. (Thinking a Mosin-Nagant)

So now, thanksfully, where I was looking to sell silver to raise funds for a scope or a gun, instead I am racking my brain trying to figure out how I can scrape up some fiat to buy on this dip!! LOL
