Something I noticed about Bing's "safe" filter

Ok check this out, Goto Bing www.bing.com

Do a search for cute blonde, then select the images tab, and you should get this message:

The search "cute blonde" may return explicit adult content and has been filtered by your Bing SafeSearch settings.
Your current Bing SafeSearch setting filters out results that might return adult content. To view those results as well, change your SafeSearch setting

The only way you can get see ANY of your search results to is to change the safe filter settings to off.

When everyone inevitably turns the filter off, it's essentially page after page of porn.
i.e. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=cute+blonde&go=&form=QBIR&filt=custom#x0y0

Google mysteriously no longer returns a result for the term "cute blonde" as an image search:

Yahoo is what normal used to be:

They probably do it for pragmatic reasons.....when you've got the filter on, you expect zero porn results. For example, maybe a kid doing a book report is searching. How can you guarantee zero porn results with that search term? Its pretty darn difficult.

There is no nudity at 10+ pages deep of the same term using yahoo.

Not coincidental it seems.

I'm wondering how come yahoo can still manage it, but Google now suddenly appears broken on any filter setting with that term.

Google used to return normal results just like Yahoo.

actually the top porn companies ARE jewish owned/managed.....just like Hollywood .....TCM is repeating thier multi-episode documentary: hollywood moguls.... it's about the genesis of hollywood and the begining of the movie making business at the turn of the century.....virtually everyone of them were jews

Starting three days ago Google Image does not return ANY image for ANY search term for me. I just keep getting that link you posted.

note the term "cute" would be used more by a child or teen... "Cute girl" leads to pornography too.

In your case, I think it's them specifically blocking you for downloading every single picture that is currently available on the internet. ;D

I think Google is using the same algorithm $tyle as Bing but they're working out the detail$ of allowing what they have behind the magic filter to be $een. ;)

It was proven a month or two ago that bing as using google's search results, and effecting the SEO listings in a way that I forget at the moment. They've probably done some revamping since that was revealed - who knows how it sorts now?

I get pages of results on google images (.com and .ca) when searching cute blond with safesearch on moderate or strict.

Bing gives me nothing.

I went back and looked at the results for "cute blond" with safesearch and a few of them would be considered explicit by some people. As vacuum says, it's probably difficult to be certain not to show something that will offend certain people with a search term like that. I'd imagine 95+% of "cute blond" images on the net are porn.
