Ok, I can't believe how much sugar is in a Sprite, I personally haven't had a coke or sprite,or a soda in years, and I don't buy any for my daughter, a friend of mine bought her daughter a Sprite the other day, mine wanted one too, so I looked on the label... Hell no you are'nt getting a sprite, 44 grams of Sugar, Omg it sounded like a hell of alot to me, so tonight I looked it up, from what I read that is 11 teaspoons of sugar.

and people feed this crap to their kids all the time, I have bought her a capri sun ( special ones that haves 2 grams of sugar but I am sure lots of other chemicals in it..... so I am back to picking lemons off the tree and adding my own sugar and fruit to it.

Its scary the crap people are feeding their kids, there just not paying attention!

No wonder cancer rates are so high.

My gramma died from cancer so did my Aunt, both of them smoked, But both of them sat there smoked cigarettes and drank coke after coke, all day! maybe a six pack each. I have seen people who smoked their whole lives and never got cancer, I don't know about sodas?

The Native Americans smoked for thousands of years. They didn't get cancer. I think cancer is a mix of the radiation, sugar, crappy diet, chemicals/toxins, lack of Vitamin B-17, and so forth.

cancer is injected into everyone when they get the polio vaccine. It's called Simian Virus 40. It was discovered in the polio source some 4 years prior to it being introduced in max vaccinations programs in 1966 or 1967. It was determined that it would be too expensive for the company that developed it to dump their stock and start again. I think that company is known as Merck which trades as the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories here in Australia (CSL).

There are rumours that it (SV40) was removed in 1999 when they changed the delivery mechanism although I've seen nothing to back that up. After being injected all it takes is a trigger. You see people dying of lung cancer who are not smokers, of liver cancer who are not drinkers. So there are triggers, this is where I think the quality of the food supply comes into question.

In australia they have had fantanstic results with deploying cancer. We are progressing rapidly to full saturation. In the last 2 years we went from 2 out of 3 getting cancer to it now being 50% of the population. That means that 10,000,000+ people in Australia currently suffer from Cancer.

No one, not a single person questions this pandemic. It has gone from 0% to 50% in about 70 years. Not bad. Quite a success I think.

It's not sugar. It's high fructose corn syrup. HFCS is one of the worst things you can consume, I boycott it. It's in almost everything so you have to look, breads, bbq sauce, ketsup, everything almost. It's a big scam.

Back in the 60's, before HFCS, obesity rates were below 2%. Since the 80's, they are above 20%. Thank HFCS.

An alternative is a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with about 12 drops of stevia.

Yes they do, but before you die, big pharma wants to bilk you out of the maximum amount of your wealth through chemo and radiation. I wonder how oncologists sleep at night.

I label all sugar on purpose since some people think that if they switch from High Fructose Corn Syrup to normal cane sugar they are being healthier. It's definitely a lesser of the two evils, but it's still evil.

Here's a good documentary on sugar:

Oh yeah that shit is nasty.

Need another reason to ditch soda?
Researchers say Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi contain a chemical that causes cancer in animals, and a consumer group says the chemical may be responsible for thousands of human deaths every year.
Add this to the 150 empty calories; the 10 teaspoons of high-fructose corn syrup in a can of regular soda; the 25 percent greater chance of developing diabetes by drinking a can a day; and a 50-percent chance of becoming obese with two cans daily. Perhaps it is time to rethink your drink.
“Caramel coloring (http://www.foodprocessing.com/articles/.../much-ado-about-coloring.html)” is added to soda to make it dark brown. Listing it among the ingredients on a food label implies it’s a natural ingredient made from melting sugar, but, in fact, soda companies use a different, cheaper chemical process to form caramel coloring (http://www.webmd.com/cancer/news/.../cancer-in-colas-caramel-coloring). They add ammonia or ammonia and sulfite to reduce the sugar, and that creates a byproduct, 4-methylimidazole (http://www.foodinsight.org/Resources/Detail.aspx?topic=Questions...4...), or 4-MI, which ends up in sodas in varying amounts.
In rat studies, large amounts of 4-MI caused lung, liver and thyroid cancer as well as leukemia.

I know a semi driver who used to deliver HFCS to a bee keeper. Draw your own conclusions.

well since i just drank 2 cups of coffee, each with 2 or 3 spoons of sugar ...

i think of Sucrose, plain old table sugar, as being a drug. that can be good, or bad, depending. and often with the side effect of rotting your teeth.

if you're just run a marathon or worked outside for a few hours, it can have a resuscitating effect.

if you consume a lot of sugar and don't work it off, which applies to a lot of folks, well i have seen the effects first-hand - had a friend that ballooned from 200 pounds to 335. her comfort food of choice - caramel corn.

i think one of the main problems with sugar in the US is that people consume it and don't work it off. then their endocrine system is left to deal with it.
