We can be hard on our bodies, at times. Right now, after a several particularly rough days at work, I feel pretty beat down and broken. I just want to sit here and not move. To many rather minor issues to list, but they add up together to make things rather difficult right now. Whole body aches actually.
Aside from getting needed rest, any tips/remedies to help recover quickly? Anything you folks do to get back to 100%? I know this is a broad question, but thought I'd ask.

Well a broad may be the answer you are seeking!
Try one blond, brunette and a redhead as needed. (In any order)
Guaranteed to help all attitudes overall. ;D

Drink a lot of clean water - you may be dry.
Eat a light meal with the following: B-complex vitamin (50 of each), vitamin D 5,000 IU
Vitamin C 500 mg every 4 hours for a day or two - very good for stress relief
Avoid seeing or hearing Obama
Take cat naps as needed
If you can take a hot bath with Epsom salts - very soothing.
Feel better soon.

Haha!! I was actually just thinking the best way to recover is take a hot bath with beautiful naked woman. Sadly, I don't have access to either right now. :)

Yesterday, during the toughest job, I drank over 1 gallon of water within a couple of hours. I'll follow your advise, plenty of water and vitamins, thanks doc. I'm going to rest all day today too, as much as I can.

Stretching or yoga, zinc, clean water with some lemon squeezed into it. I hope you feel better.

Yes, zinc! thanks. I'll try to do some stretching too. The worst is my left elbow. The boat I was working on bit me. We were working the ol gal pretty hard, full throttle everything she had, rattling and shaking...and she got me when I wasn't looking. Right in that perfect spot on the elbow. I couldn't make a fist at the time from the pain. I can close my left hand now, though it's quite sore.. I think she was grumpy that we were working her so hard, but the captain thought it might have been a love bite. That she was all worked up and full of passion. Either way, a string of curse words were shared loudly with the world at the time.

LOL Slowbell, I feel ya my friend age and hard work will creep up on ya, I would follow the Dr.S' advise, and rest, then drag your but outta bed and after a bit, the aches and pains subside, once you start running again.

In a similar circumstance after a day of black diamond skiing a massage helped straighten me out. Professional as opposed to "happy ending".
