I sure wish OHL was here to weigh in, We are about the same age, I was studying about the effects of Soy beans and menopause and the cancer link.

Any body have any experience with this, Men or Women, since I am sure most of you are married.

I think soy beans are fine ONLY if they are fermented first. Soy sauce is fine. Stinky tofu is fine. Nattō is fine (and a good source of K2.) Miso is fine.

Other than that they are toxic and should be avoided at all costs.

She has a bad gluten sensativity so is trying to cull alot of triggers out of the diet

We dont do soy but almond milk for cooking and cereals.

Thanks Shami, I don't like soy sauce its to salty, I have always eaten tofu and miso soup, way back in the late 60's my best friend was 1/2 Japanese, and her mom would tell us go ahead and eat that sushi in the fridge, they didn't have Japanese restaurants back then. I know this is more or less a mens forum but would like any input.

I wish MN would weigh in I know she has been quite lately , since we have so much drama

I would stay away from the almond milk stuff personally. Only drink raw milk. If you can't find it there's a guide to help you get connected with Weston A. Price Foundation members who can help you find it in your state (if it's legal):

A lot of people are allergic to milk since they aren't drinking raw milk. Pasteurization kills off the enzymes which break down lactose. Without these enzymes your body cant break down lactose, hence why people have so much trouble with milk.

If there's a lot of food sensitivities I would recommend getting a food allergy test to find out your sensitivities. It's one of the RARE occasions I'd recommend seeing a doctor. Find an allergist and bluntly tell them you ONLY want to have a food allergy test, and that's it. Don't put up with them having you visit and discuss before the test since they will try to drain you of your money. Research food allergens and make a list of foods that are also food allergens that might be on your list. Like maybe shrimp is something you may never eat, but it is a food allergen, so you wouldn't waste your money testing that (unless you wanted to.)
