The first time that you saw her, did your heart did a flip flop because you knew that she was the one?

Do you still remember what she was wearin? her dress, her shoes....what she was doing?'

The first time that you took her out? to dinner? a movie?

Did you ever take her to a park and just sit on the grass?

Or go up to the top of a mountain ....... to look at the stars?

And the first kiss? hot and sweet, as you knew that it was going to be.

Did you hold hands in the car while driving somewhere? and did you still do it after five years?

The first house that you bought, mostly for her? and how about the brand new car?

Time goes by and old I will get.....but the memories of her will never change.

I am a very lucky man..............because she's still in my heart.

And there she will be........till the day I die.
========================================

When I saw her she was sitting on a high stool wearing a dress with red and white candy strips and sandals....she was reading a magasine and swinging her right foot back and forward, with long blond hair all the way to the middle of her back and I knew that she was the one.........and I told myself "I don't care if shes married or with a boyfriend, shes mine"

First date I took her to a very famous hotel in Puerto Rico with a floor show and we went and sat at a front table.....the waiter came and told me "Excuse me sir, but this table is for eight people" and I said to him "OK bring me eight drinks" hahahahahh

Next day we went to this small park and sat on the grass and this guy came running to us and told us "No, No, you cannot sit on the grass, only on the benches" and I said to him "Hola amigo, sorry I don't talk Spanish"...after a while he finally gave up and left us alone.

From there we went to the tallest mountain to see the stars and stayed there till one am.

The date ended with me kissing her and the kiss curled up my toes wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

We always held hands, even when mad at each other......and after a while she would squeeze my hand
or me hers.......and everything was allright.

Our first house was a little cute one with two bedrooms and one bathroom and her first car was a Toy Corolla.

By the way.....she did have a boyfriend that was suppose to come to PR the day that we eloped and she sent him a telegram from the airport....."Don't come, I am getting married" ouchhhhhhhhhhhh

Yep, I remember every moment with mine.
That hot summer day, as the sun was going down, he stopped me on the dirt road to ask what I was doing up this way, I was on my way to the top of the grade to watch the sunset. I knew that day I would marry him.

Funny how fate works out.

I met a girl seven months ago, and immediately knew I'd spend the rest of my life with her. If I could custom order my dream girl, she'd be it.

For me it's been over 8 years but it was the same when I met her. Before I met her, if you'd have asked me to describe my dream girl, I'd have given you her description.

I remember it like it was yesterday. Needed some green peppers for a recipe, me and a buddy went to the local Kroger to get them and some other stuff. As I approached the produce dept I saw her from behind and watched as she turned around, she had legs that made an ass out of themselves but there was something about her that made my heart flutter. She was wearing a Kroger frock, jeans and boots. I elbowed my buddy and said, "good Lord she's fine, I'm gonna marry that girl!" He laughed at me needless to say. She was the produce chick so I had my excuse to introduce myself, re the green peppers and so it began, two weeks later and after buying approx 20+ peppers I got a date with her to go listen to band at a cool little bar on the college campus and much to our dissapointment it had shut down.

So, we got some beer put it in a cooler and went to a secluded parking spot, partied and danced on the little road till the sun was almost up.

I remember. I was drinking at a southern rock dance bar. She was wearing a soft fuzzy angora top, and tiny black mini skirt and leopard panties.
We danced and danced. I sat down and she was on the floor hugging my knees.
I don't remember anything after that. :)

Sometimes the best pictures are the ones we hold in our memories...I mean how do you take a pic of the feelings from dancing in the moonlight to Springsteen, Neil Young, Mellencamp etc... with your love?

Those memories last forever and that's all that matters.

I'm surprises at such a sappy thread on this forum with a bunch of tough guys. :)

I'll add French Gal, whom I met while traveling Scotland, at a hostel. The hostel owner had planned a big dinner, 4.50 in pounds, for everyone. The tables had names where we sat, and French gal sat next to me. She was very quiet, and I hadn't the nerve yet to face her and see what she looked like. I finally turned and looked, we started talking, and everyone else faded away. That whole night we were inseparable. I met up with her a few days later in Paris for a few days. We kept in touch, a few years later I went back to visit her.

She wouldn't move to the USA, and I wouldn't move to France. If it wasn't for that, my perfect gal.

LT, it would probably take me 6 months to sail to France. If I did embark on such an adventure, I'd surely stop an visit you folks in FL along the way. :)
