Sodium Naproxen - AKA "ALeve" - What Side Effects have you Experienced ?

I am thinking of trying the common pain reliever "Aleve".

However, I don't really like experimenting with drugs unless there is a compelling reason.

I was wondering, if you have taken Aleve, what side effects have you experienced ?


When I looked it up on the web, the side effects sounded similar to Ibuprofen - rough on your stomach.

Have you tried taking the herb Frankincense, or sometimes called Boswellia?

I took Aleve one time, it made me sick to my stomach.

I take IB's for arthritis when it flares up and it doesn't hurt my guts at all. I tried the Aleve but it didn't help a bit.

It is very rough on your stomach. Surgeon had me take two (once a day) only for a week right after my surgery. Serious heartburn if you don't take them with a full meal. Not fun even after taking with a full meal.
