The only thing that I thought it needed was some kind of handle to grab hold of to help getting in and out. I noticed people getting out were swinging both their legs out, then standing up. So no 1 foot first type of thing. I use the car door to lean on when getting in and out. I'd need a jesus handle or something.

Why is this not in some of those groovy concept cars we see at the car shows? James Bond needs this on one car and then everyone will want them.

Not only would such a contraption substantially add to the cost of a car, I can see where insurance rates would be higher on a car so equipped 'cause the car is much more likely to be totaled from even a minor collision since that door alignment would HAVE to be perfect to work right and be raintight. The cost of repairing damage to something like that could easily result in a car being totaled by an insurance company. (insurance companies are already totaling cars that only have a small amount of body damage yet the cost of replacing multiple air bags pushes the expense over into the 'total this car' column)

Gives the papparazi a better chance of getting a decent beave shot, if the conditions warrant.
